Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley

About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

Great Course
First time playing there and it was amazing, weather was perfect. Fairways were like hitting off new mats, and greens were rolling true. Honestly one of the mozt scenic courses I've played. Will play again if and or when I go back to Vegas area.
Challenging but fair!
The course wos in excellent condition. We played Desert Hawk and El Dorado. The fairways and greens were great. The waste areas could have been slightly less prominent and some could have easily been converted to bunkers. A dog leg right hole on Desert Hawk had a water runoff crossing the fairway that I punished a good approach shot. Never the less, I found the overall ratings to be 4 stars and if possible I would give the course 41/2 stars.
Great course
The course is in immaculate conditions
Chicago visitor
Great layout and fair challenge. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Very good value.
One the top Courses in the Vegas area
Great 27 hole layout. Course is in excellent shape.
Hidden gem
I’ve played this course several times, it’s a joy always in excellent condition.
Lots of demanding tee shots and challenging approach shots.
Well worth the money.
Course was in good condition, Group enjoyed the course.
Good Value for Vegas
Nice course decent shape would definitely play again.
Nice stop if you're not in a hurry
Great course, great layout, great shape, greens roll nice..friendly staff.... Efficient lady in pro shop got us out almost an hour early.. Good thing as we finished just at dusk after 5 hr round... No marshall/player Asst around. Also found out pro shop and restaurant close at 600 pm.. So if you finish after that just be aware there'll be no food, drink or washrooms available. Otherwise, golf wise.. Good value for the dollar with golf now hot deal rate.
Good times until the wind blew
The morning was cool and the staff friendly when we pulled up. The range balls and range were nice but quite the haul to the first tee and no clock for you to keep an eye on your timeline.
Starter was nice and the practice putting green was representative of what we found on the course.
Nice layout and pretty much what you see is what you get. The wind makes this a different course. Front was a pleasant experience and was able to club well. The 30mg winds that kicked up on the back made it unplayable. We left after 16 holes. Pace was dragging due to the difficulty the wind added.
I would play it again. By the price through golf now was 55 more than resident rates.
Worth the drive
This was my group's first time playing Boulder Creek, and it didn't disappoint. As a muni, the cost is appreciably lower than many of the courses we play on our annual trip, but that doesn't mean the course skimps on quality or service. The layout is varied and decently challenging. From tee to green in good playing condition. It's worth the 30-40 minute drive from the Strip, and if you'd like, take a few more minutes to see the Hoover Dam!
Good track if you're not in a hurry
Good course layout, conditions and greens. Friendly staff and efficient lady in pro shop got us out an hour early... good thing as we finished just at dusk after a near 5 hr round. 5 some in front of us couldn't/wouldn't keep reasonable pace. Didn't see Marshall/player Asst all day.. Also FYI pro shop and restaurant close at 600 pm... So pack a lunch
