Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

Coyote Run: 9th, par-4, 469: Arguably the most complex hole on a sophisticated nine, where pars are well-earned. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Eldorado Valley: fourth, par-4, 409: A tough if straightforward hole, but it still can be touchy trying to hit a green that is this well protected by bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

BCGC
Enjoyed the course, but it could of had more overseeing. Many of the balls rolled from the fairways to the edge or the twigs.
Great Winter Course
Boulder Creek is a fantastic winter course. I will play it again and would highly recommend it to family and friends! I really enjoyed the roadrunners and rabbits!
Challenging Course
We played Coyote and Desert today. It is a beautiful course! It is also very challenging! I would recommend it as your go to course or definitely one to enjoy on your stay in the area. Great staff.
70° and no wind
The conditions today were absolutely perfect 70° and no wind. The course is in fair condition fairways are OK overseed is starting to get very thin. The greens are patchy and bumpy and very fast I’ve been playing much better locally., and paying lower rates than this.
A Jem in the desert
Played Boulder Creek for the first time and walked the courses; Coyote, El Dorado. It has three 9 holes to play. It's a tough walk, especially after Coyote 9 to El Dorado 1. Hitch a ride for that trek at least.
The course is not too forgiven but if you know where to go, you're all good. For the first time, play with an experienced player. I did and it helped a lot.
Great staff and friendly cart girl, she came around 3 times during our round.
The only downside was, it was a very slow round. This was due in part to a tournament on the third 9.
Definitely worth the drive from the Vegas area. Eat at Dillinger's, the best burgers around and cold PBR on tap.
Great Golf Experience
Staff is very friendly while addressing any and all needs. Course played very well for winter time conditions. Pace of play was great with no waiting on any hole!
Will be back soon!!!
Not worth the trip
The young pro shop employee was unfriendly. I went to hit balls and they charged me an extra fee but when I went down to the range there were dozen of free balls. The range also sucked, it was a dirt track with no yardage markers. I then was supposed to be pairyup with another golfer but they didn’t have anyone so I went out by myself. The course was dead and no one was playing it which should have been a good clue to play elsewhere but I booked it online. The place had three nines and they wanted to charge me extra to play the third nine when the place was a ghost town. The greens must have been aerated recently because there we’re still sand on them. The bunkers were nothing but rock and pebbles with little sand to hit. The worst part was the wind. There are no trees so the wind whips so badly to can hardly stand over the ball. Save your money and play elsewhere especially if your from out of town. They jack the rates for non resident.
Not impressed
I bought this as a Valentines gift for my husband. We have been wanting to play here for the past 8 years, but it just never worked out. I have to say, we were both disappointed with the course.
Wind it up
Awesome course. Excellent greens. Gusting winds adds to the challenge. Had breakfast and food was great. Ham and egg platter is great. Go there. You will enjoy it.
Nice course
Fantastic course. Good pace of play. Really like that it’s NOT in a housing community, like a lot of Vegas courses are. The greens were nice and clean and by that I mean no geese/duck droppings like on a lot of courses here. I seen many workers cleaning the debris from the fairways and greens. Well maintained. Friendly cart girl and pro shop workers. I will definitely play here many more times. Well done.
