Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

Cold! But fun!
My wife, son and I went out in the morning about 8:00 am. Cold sucker went off on Coyote Run and coming off hole number one the sun was in our eyes so bad we had three balls in the fairway and couldn’t see them until we were right on them. Greens were very fast and very firm. Couldn’t get anything to hold without a bunch of spin! Fairways were pretty solid as well. Sand traps are definitely the hole guards. I think I managed to find about 75% of them. The sand was better than I’ve seen in most of the courses around Clark county. All in all great course and everythiing on the course will be in good shape in another month. The staff and Pro shop were great. Think I will make this on of my regular courses.
A little wind makes for a chilly round and some lost balls.
My wife, son and I went out at 8:00 am. The first nine was was kinda brutal off the first tee of Coyote run that early we had 3 balls hit and couldn’t find one until we were right on top of it, because of the sun. Course is in pretty good shape and I’m sure will be great in about 1 more month. Greens are running fast. They were hard and we couldn’t get hardly anything to hold unless it was thrown in the air. All in all great round! Just wish the wind would have cooperated!!!!!! Staff and Pro shop were great.
Will play again soon!
Challenging layout
Wide fairways, large undulating greens. Plays over 7000 yards from the tips. Lots of desert right off the fairway. Don't miss the short grass. Windy day played having with keeping it in play. Pace of play was good. Our foursome played in 4 hours using two sets of tees. Greens were a little spotty making them a bit bumpy, but they were green and running true for the most part. Nice well stocked proshop.
Treats hot deal players poorly.
Used hot deal to play today. Treated me as a second class citizen. Kept saying some people paid full price. Not sure why that matters. Not the first time. Same attitude last year as well. Course is great but slow play.
Nice course and great staff
Course was in decent shape considering the weather has been very cold recently.
Great course but troubling greens
Of a 3 course golf trip, this was our groups favourite. The most challenging, unique and truest test of golf. Love everything about the course except the greens are in rough shape. Poa is taking over the bent and the mix was like playing plinko. Very bumpy and inconsistent. I understand this is difficult to manage until the poa fully takes over, so this is a warning to those expecting puttable greens. Everything else was fantastic. Loved the variety of holes. Playing his a few times is a requirement to knowing shot placement and strategy.
Nice desert course
Excellent fairway condition. Well protected by large sand bunkers; both fairway and green side. Several very scenic holes. Would definitely play again.
Friendly and Welcoming Staff
I am somewhat reluctant to try a new course as some courses may not always be welcoming to non-regulars. At Boulder Creek, I was immediately greeted and warmly welcomed by the staff. They made certain that I was properly prepared and knowledgeable of the course nuances. The course is in great shape and I will be looking for another opportunity to visit.
Great Layout
Course is totally removed from Vegas. Near Boulder City. Easy access to Hover Dam and Bridge. The price was a little high, but I was able to use a few rewards to bring it to a respectable rate. Weather was only 55 but had a great time. Going back sometime when the course is not over seeded. Had a good day of golf.
Pleasantly surprised!
I was surprised at how beautiful the fairways and greens could be, in November, in a desert. We enjoyed our round and were impressed with the beautiful views. Great day of golf and very friendly staff.
Really great golf!
I’ve played here several times and always have had a great time. I got paired up with a couple other guys and we had a great time. The one guy I think works there part time and he was such a nice kid. He could really swing those clubs. We had a couple good laughs. The conditions were superb. Greens great. The other guy and I kept blowing it past the hole. Nobody got upset. Just a great day. The young guy rightly predicted big winds about halfway through the round. So it was trying to also adjust for that. Don’t pass up on this course. It’s one of the nicest places you’ll play around Vegas. And priced fair.
Very Pleasantly Surprised
Played this course for the first time today. Staff couldn't have been any friendlier. Paired with a local who helped with his local knowledge. Course was in superb condition. Greens ran true and ball St up nicely in the fairways. Bunkers were raked and full of sand. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to Boulder Creek. You won't regret it. Great value and golfing experience.
too windy
regretfully we couldn’t replay more than 9 as the winds were 25-35 gusts and miserable
lived here a year and wanted to play it with friends and we had to quit as it was horrible wind conditions
staff and course outstanding and we would play again wish we could a voucher for nine holes to play another day/ or partial credit
Boulder Creek
Course very fair for both high and low handicappers.
Tee boxes, fairways and greens in great condition.
Greens multilevelled, undulating challenging, not slow nor super fast.
Pace of play was excellent, finished round in 3:50 minutes, but be fair there was 2 family group 4 somes in front of us that let our 2 some play through.
Played the Desert Hawk and El Dotado.
Would play this 3 nine hole next time.
