About
Situated between Richmond and Williamsburg, the Club at Viniterra sprawls across abundantly wooded hills. There is no shortage of elevation changes on this Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead-designed golf course. There is a difference of as much as 70 feet from the tee to the green on most of the holes. When combined with the mature trees, the result is a tough layout that demands accuracy. Thankfully though, there are not many water hazards to contend with but there is strategically placed bunkering throughout. The golf course also provides a scenic round with working vineyards running alongside the lush fairways. In addition to being challenging, the Club at Viniterra prides itself on their environmentally sensitive practices. The golf course saves as much as 80 percent of the water used on traditional courses thanks to the use of a drought-resistant grass hybrid.

Great Course with NO PARKING
Great course with a very challenging layout. There is absolutely no parking at this course. I find it almost annoying they would use up all that land to build such a nice course and not make enough parking spots to accommodate the guest. I love this course but be sure to drive the smallest car you have
Rees Jones masterpiece
Great course, weaving through the woods on many holes. Excellent condition for March, dormant Bermuda coming back nicely in spots. Long course from tips 7500 so pick your tees accordingly!
Nice layout. Enjoyable round
Some blind shots so course knowledge is very important. Overall s good place to play. Greens were very nice and fast for s round in February.
Great Course
This is such a great track. Course is in excellent shape and greens were perfect - ran true and quick. My first time playing this course. The experience was made even better as a few locals invited me to join their group for a friendly match. I had a blast. I would highly recommend this course. I wish I played this course mid-season when my game is in shape. I will come back for sure.
1st Round This Year
The weather was beyond perfect on the 2nd of January in Virginia. The course was in great shape. The only detractor that day was, cart path only, for good reason and the bunkers were a little wet (go figure). The course was in great shape and met all our expectations for the day especially since it was technically a holiday, and pace of was well managed. I will remember this for a while since I aced number 8.

Course is fantastic.! Pace of play was quite slow, but we made do.
