About
Schaumburg Golf Club is a 27-hole layout that has hosted the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments as well as numerous other events since it first opened in 1928. The course is divided into three nines: the Tournament, Players, and Baer. Each course has a different character but one characteristic they all have is the undulating terrain. All three golf courses also boast well manicured tees, greens, and fairways. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Tournament/Players course features the most water of the three combinations. The par-4 fifth hole on the Tournament nine has a particularly tricky forced carry over a large pond. In addition to the golf courses, Schaumburg has a practice facility that includes a driving range and two putting greens.

Always great!
I’m never disappointed here! I managed to grab the first tee time out in the morning and finish my nine hole round in one hour and 10 minutes. Everything was in fantastic shape.
Always a pleasure
Course is normally in very nice shape. Greens a bit more chewed up this year but I blame it on all the new golfers not fixing ball marks among other etiquette violations. Staff is the friendliest anywhere and always make you fee like they are glad you are there.
A Ranger or 2 would have done the trick!
Great shape course...$56 a little high..course is always booked..lucky to get off as a single, but 4 groups of 4 ahead of me very slow and never offered me to go thru. $4 for cart girl Gatorade...such a deal! It's a well kept course...just get the old guys like me to go faster!
Great course BUT Poisoned Hotdogs!!!
I always love playing this track when I’m able to grab a tee time. It always seems to book up fast. One tip that I can say is DON’T TOUCH THE HOTDOGS! I’ve been knocked out for a day and a half with food poisoning and I knew it tasted a little funny when eating it. Other than that the course was great and I’d go back BUT stay clear of the food!
Great course
This is one of my favorite courses. Greens are always good, fairways are superb for a public course as are tee boxes and traps. No real negatives to this one. If I had one it would be the fact you can't book a cart on line and have to pay at counter for that, but not really a negative. Will certainly be back.
Mid-Summer Twlight Round at Schaumburg
The course was in fantastic shape and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was a group in front of us, who were more than a full 2 holes behind the group in front of them, and there was no ranger to hold them accountable. Aside from that, it was a very nice round of golf.
