About
Schaumburg Golf Club is a 27-hole layout that has hosted the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments as well as numerous other events since it first opened in 1928. The course is divided into three nines: the Tournament, Players, and Baer. Each course has a different character but one characteristic they all have is the undulating terrain. All three golf courses also boast well manicured tees, greens, and fairways. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Tournament/Players course features the most water of the three combinations. The par-4 fifth hole on the Tournament nine has a particularly tricky forced carry over a large pond. In addition to the golf courses, Schaumburg has a practice facility that includes a driving range and two putting greens.

Amazing Course - Must Play
This was an amazing course that somehow I have never played before in the last many years while living in Chicago. I came here per a recommendation and was super happily surprised. The course is really nice, it has a nice range, 27-holes, great carts, and a nice facility overall. It is an "A+ Course" in my opinion - especially for the area of Chicago. The only con was that they added $20 more to rent a cart versus walking rate.
Enjoyable Golf Course
Well maintained. Greens rolled true. Nice layout. Very nice rolling hills and treelined fairways. I really like this course.
Best value in Chicagoland golf.
For the rate, the course cannot be beaten! It plays a lot like Cantigny, and the 3 9’s are all different and fun in their own way!
Best looking course around
This course is beautiful. The conditions were beyond great, staff was friendly. I cannot wait to return back to this course. I would more likely spend the extra $20 vs saving it at a lesser course.
Great course for everyone
This place is great. Fairways are beautiful, greens are good, showing some signs of use, but fair. Not very long, but challenging all the same. Keeping the ball in the fairway is the name of the game here, not a grip-it-and-rip-it kind of place. A great deal too, specially if you are a schaumburg resident.
Excellent Condition
Truly excellent condition of tees, fairways, traps, and greens and a great value for walking 9-holes with Hot Deal. I play a lot of municipal courses across the northern half of Illinois and the quality and the condition of this course was the best I have seen. Remarkable. As good as or better than the private clubs I have played in scrambles and various charity events. Don’t miss it.

This course is tough, but in immaculate condition. Greens are a challenge and getting up and down is no easy task on any hole. Bunkers were quality and range / practice facilities are best in area. If you’re serious about the game this is your place.
