About
Schaumburg Golf Club is a 27-hole layout that has hosted the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments as well as numerous other events since it first opened in 1928. The course is divided into three nines: the Tournament, Players, and Baer. Each course has a different character but one characteristic they all have is the undulating terrain. All three golf courses also boast well manicured tees, greens, and fairways. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Tournament/Players course features the most water of the three combinations. The par-4 fifth hole on the Tournament nine has a particularly tricky forced carry over a large pond. In addition to the golf courses, Schaumburg has a practice facility that includes a driving range and two putting greens.

Amazing Course
Amazing course. I won’t even say “for the value”. This place is up to par with some country clubs I’ve been to. Not too difficult that mediocre golfers can’t handle, but definitely some challenging holes for even. Walked the the front 9 of the Tournament Course. Will be back.
Muni Gem!
This course is absolutely fantastic. Starting from the parking lot you can see how well manicured the place is. Great Club House. Course is in excellent shape. Layout is tough but fair. Greens were firm, fast & true. Played in 4 hrs 20 min on 4th of July weekend. Cannot recommend this place enough!

If you want an excellent public course, this is it. The course is in great condition. I will play it again.

Very friendly staff. Very well maintained and clean. The Staffs were very friendly. Especially, first tee box check in person. Had a really good time.
Amazing
Always a treat to get out and play this wonderful… amazing staff, amazing course conditions, …and I can not leave out the Restaurant…food (compliments to the chef) and server were amazing!
Immaculate Conditions
Heard a ton of hype about this track since the renos so had to try it. Walked 18 (tournament/player) and I have to say it lives up to every bit of it. This is private country club conditions at a muni. The layout is kind of a hybrid between a midwest country club and palm springs resort course. If youre debating between this and something else, spend the extra $20 here, it's well worth it. People please fix your ball marks and divots so we can preserve this great track.
