About
Schaumburg Golf Club is a 27-hole layout that has hosted the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments as well as numerous other events since it first opened in 1928. The course is divided into three nines: the Tournament, Players, and Baer. Each course has a different character but one characteristic they all have is the undulating terrain. All three golf courses also boast well manicured tees, greens, and fairways. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Tournament/Players course features the most water of the three combinations. The par-4 fifth hole on the Tournament nine has a particularly tricky forced carry over a large pond. In addition to the golf courses, Schaumburg has a practice facility that includes a driving range and two putting greens.

Great Shape
Course was in very good shape for April in Chicagoland. Greens were firm, fast and rolling true. One of the better places you can pick in our area.
Nice home course
Always enjoy 9 holes walking anytime of season, good condition and pace...Nice one indeed.
Nice renovations
Despite all the rain we have had the course drainage was good. Fairways weren't soaked except on a few holes near the water.
Love the sand
One of the few course for the price with white fluffy sand traps. Greens are true rolling, fast and well kept. This is a great course for the price. Would definitely recommend checking it out. Staff is also friendly.
Perfect course
Very good golf course!
But met some slow players. A group of five some played very slow and a group stoped their play to wash their irons in water hazard. But these will not prevent me to play here. I will be back:)
Great bunkers, fast true greens.
This was a fun course, not crazy difficult but some well placed bunkers can challenge you. Sand is beautiful white sand and the greens rolled very nicely for November. They keep the course in excellent shape.
Nice course good greens
I always enjoy playing Schaumburg it’s in good shape no leaves nice cut fairways and nice greens the only down side was that all the on course bathrooms were locked so go before you play or find a bush. Staff in very nice and will let you out early when it’s not crowded l.

What a treat!
Possibly the last golf day of the year, I thought it would be packed. Got there at 8:30 for my 8:50 tee time. 3 other players on the range, nobody on the tee. Starter sent the twosome I was paired with ahead. I went off as a single about 8:45 and NEVER SAW ANOTHER PLAYER near me! It was such an enjoyable walk on a beautiful day. Played well, found a few lost balls...ok 65! Left most along the tee boxes, probably surprised whomever followed.
