Gotta a 15quid mud week deal for 6 baller. First time I've played and will definitely be back. Couple of greens could do with some TLC but didn't spoil our day. A bit hilly in places but good for the old ticker. Will be back

Lovely course

Played first time. Lovely course. In good condition overall although greens a little patchy. Very friendly welcome. Shame my game wasn't in same condition as course.

Good Course with Nice Views

Alnwick Castle Golf Course is a nice parkland course set on the outskirts of Alnwick, the course is on land which is raised above the town giving views over some of the town with nice vistas of the surrounding countryside. Some of the course is set in woodland and I enjoyed these holes the most, others are laid out across adjoining land and they are not quite as interesting but still enjoyable. This course is quite hilly so if you are unfit or have mobility issues then a buggy may be required if available. The greens were of a decent standard.

The club is about to undergo a period of building works with a new club house to be constructed and some alterations of the course planned as houses are also going to be built on some land that the club currently uses.

Overall I enjoyed my round, the scenery was good, the weather gorgeous for the time of year and the course was in good condition. I would visit again.

A nice challenging course

Played here a couple of times and have always found the course in good condition.

The greens are particularly well maintained and true, It's a pretty hilly course and there are a few tees that are well spaced out and require a good walk to get to, So think twice before setting off if you intend to carry your bag.

I have always found this course to be challenging, so you'd better bring your 'A' game....
