Arcot Hall Golf Club

All temporary tee boxes / winter greens - a lot of the fairways were like semi rough and very waterlogged. There hasn’t been that much rainfall this month but the course was very wet with lots of standing water.

The temp. Greens were a patch of mown fairway and basically unplayable.

Would only recommend in summer months.

Really enjoyed the round today. The course was fine but two holes were closed for maintenance and the two par fives were split into four holes on the front nine which shortened the course considerably. The back nine was unaffected.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Look forward to playing again without restrictions as I am in my sixties it was much easier on the legs than most courses around the area.

Neither GolfNow nor Arcott stipulated that the course would be in such poor condition. If so I wouldn’t have booked it. I will gove it another chance in the summer. But the water on the fairways were ankle height, still winter greens on 80% of the course, only 16 holes were available to play. As a fourball we collectively walked off after 6 holes after a 40 minute drive to the course. Two things that stick in my mind the most is that GolfNow should not have had it available on its website to play. Some communication between the course and GolfNow would’ve been wonderful.

Lovely course considering the weather we’ve had, it played well. The course will be amazing once the good weather returns and some of the works have been completed

Played Arcot a few times and was aware course can get quite wet at this time time of year. Unfortunately wasn't aware that 2 holes were closed and fairway protection was on so all shots had to be picked up from the fairway and placed in the semi.

Most disappointing aspect was Golf now though. After booking course was then charged £99 from Golf pass. Had to open dispute with bank to refund payment, absolutely shocking so be careful.

Totally impressed with condition of fairways and greens despite previous days torrential rain. A very scenic parkland course with very friendly members. Great value for money, Will return ASAP.

Course was recommended to me, I wasn’t disappointed. Course in great condition and other golfers were considerate to allow quicker golfers through which added to the experience

Arcot Hall lovley course in great condition. Very enjoyable day out would recommend it. Will definitely be back to play it again.

Great course with a good range of difficulty but extremely slow due to so many playing. At times had to wait 20 mins on some holes and eventually called it a day after 9 holes; played 9 holes in just less than 3 hours!

Was expecting something great but turned out to be nothing special, certainly wouldn’t pay full fee. Greens were nice very fast.

Lovely course and unfortunately having to leave a negative review but were waiting on the tee boxes for 15 minutes and then had to skip holes out as it was becoming a joke.

Waste of a round!!

Lovely course in great condition but pace of play was horrendous had to skip holes to get in front of a particular group that was slowing everyone down totally spoilt the round.

Great course. Feels you're playing somewhere special.
