Winter golf at Arcot Hall

Looks like this could be a lovely course in spring, summer or autumn but 9/9 holes were on winter ‘greens’. These were quite hard to differentiate from the fairway tbh. Happy we only paid £11 for the round but only did 9 because of the greens.

Hot deal

Arrived early for a coffee and the staff were very welcoming.

The course was in fantastic condition and the greens were amazing.

Mats were in use bit this did not detract from a very enjoyable round.

Nice course and excellent conditions for the time of year.

As title, course and specifically the greens where in excellent condition for the weather and time of year. I think there were only 3 greens on winters which was great.

Course conditions good considering time of year and heavy rain in previous 48 hours. Three greens currently being worked on necessitating winter greens for those three.

Arcot Hall

Lovely course and nice layout but unfortunately the greens were covered in sand when played which spoiled it.

A nice day out at Arcot Hall

We booked a tee time for 4 players, but sadly one of our members dropped out thought injury. It didn't spoil the day as we continued to make our way through the holes despite out handicaps. Pace was reasonable and we allowed one group through as they were only a two ball and obviously lower handicaps. The weather was perfect for golf and we all had a good day out with a wish to return sometime in the future.

Excellent day.

Course in great condition. Has benefited from recent rain to slow greens down a bit. Never pushed or held up by others on the course. Off course facilities limited for now but this will make it an even better experience when they reopen. Looking forward to my next visit.

Arcot Hall

Well kept grounds, fairways, greens and T boxes…one small complaint , the bunkers, not very well looked after … but that didn’t stop a fantastic course , that will suit any level of player, highly recommend this course and club house after a round.
