Great welcome (again) great value

Second time I’ve played NUGC. Very friendly welcome once again. The course was in decent condition with fast and true greens. Back 9 fairways felt like a heathland / links course with lots of undulations and swales. Virtually had the course to myself (Thursday afternoon visitor), for an absolute bargain £20. Whilst there are better conditioned courses around Newcastle (for a price), I really like the welcome here. Shot 88 (2 under net par) with a few duffed short putts and a double bogey 18th, taking me beyond an 84/85. Happy with that as an 18 handicapper! Will play again.

Good budget course

This course is by no means a Ryder cup venue, but for a cheap round it’s a great little course. Worth the 20 quid for a round, not too badly maintained, would recommend and come back for sure 👍

Great condition and good value

Course was in great condition considering all the dry weather recently a real gem and great value for money. The wind was really strong which made it a real test.

Great Course

Played here last night weather was great and the golf course was in good condition and the greens were great as well some faster than others.Bar staff nice and friendly and the beer was nice and cold after a very hot round.Thanks

Decent enough course, pace of play ruins it.

Played this course on a Saturday morning, its very straight forward with nothing special about it although in a fair condition.

The pace of play ruins it, taking over 2 1/2 hours to play 5 holes on the back 9 as a two ball.

Skipped 16 & 17.

Refused to be allowed to play through.

Decent course but don’t expect to be done under 4 hours.
