Excellent value for money

Went to this course for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed my round. The staff are very friendly and point you in the right direction on arrival.

It had been pouring it down the day before and the course was in great condition considering this. Will definitely be coming back regularly and in particular during the summer because I imagine it will be even better when it's dry.

Great value for money, good practice area to use prior to your round.

The only issue I found was the pace of play, but I think that was more down to the individuals playing ahead of me rather than a fault of the course.

All in all was very happy and will definitely be coming back. Also very easy to get to by public transport.

Well laid out course. Minimal hazards. Great for beginners or an easy round, I enjoyed it, particularly the back 9.

The course was wet but all greens were in play and imagine pretty decent in the summer.

Play was very slow. A four ball in front should have let us through. The group behind us came close to hitting us on the fairway and on the green as they were so impatient, even though we obviously couldn’t move any faster!

I may return in the summer and give it another go as it is generally cheap.

The clubhouse was very friendly and nice to enjoy a drink in and the staff could not be more accommodating !

Good value for the money

ThThe course is a decent standard for a winter greens and I was disappointed to be placed in another group when I booked for a single round. The staff were friendly and the players were all beginners to mid-level. It’s a good place to practice and offers good value.

Cheap round

Course is ok if you want a cheap round local. Winter greens is basically a flag in the fairway. Didn’t get the putter out the bag once. Winter tees & general fairways in ok condition.

Very poor

I attended this course with my son after an earlier visit in the month , where weather got the best of the day and only finished the front 9 . I thought I’d give it another go as it was fairly cheap and my 13 year old son has not long started playing .

We teed off at 13:00 with no one in front of us , quickly caught up a party of 3 on the 2nd hole and they were also waiting for a 4 ball just teeing off on the 3rd. The play was so slow , that the 2 parties that were now BEHIND me , had decided to just walk off all by the 6th hole .

I decided on the 8th to leapfrog to the 10th as we wernt getting let through and the 4 ball were absolutely dawdling. We finished the 10th and just decided that the day had been ruined and couldn’t continue so walked back towards the clubhouse , where my son was 2 feet away from getting hit with a drive from that 4 ball . With the sun in our eyes we’d stopped and were well aware of them teeing off but not one about to let us know that ball was literally on course to hit my son . Not a sorry or acknowledgment of any kind . If it wasn’t for the fact that I was with my boy , that ball would’ve been teed up and pinged right back at them . Absolutely ruined the day after paying a small fortune to have to walk off . Course was ok although the greens were full of divots . Wouldn’t come back .

Great course for new player

This was my first time playing at this course. I’ve only been playing golf for a few months and found the course to be very forgiving for a new player whilst also being challenging on certain holes. Will definitely be playing here again.

Lovely

Very early tee time so course was empty and greenkeepers were out prepping the course. Was in good condition with tricky greens.

Stephen

As always the course is excellent and the greens really good. Only issue is 4 balls with buggies playing very slow and not allowing 2 balls to play through . Standing between tee boxes and greens waiting for then to finish talking etc
