Great greens, staff and members brilliant.
4 ball played, pave was decent, everyone we met was super friendly either members playing the course or in the club house. Staff brilliant too. Not a bad par 3 on the course and the final hole is ace. Will be going back.
Great Challenge
First time playing Burnley but will definitely return. Lots of challenging holes in particular the interesting par 3’s. There are several blind drives but the course was quiet enough for us to walk to look over the hill which helped. I’d recommend a buggy as its is quite hilly, we were a fit 3 ball but we were out of breath several times pushing/ carrying up the hills. The greens weren’t quite up to standard for this time of year which meant quite a few unpredictable puts but I assume the temperature of the course, due to its altitude, means they’re a few weeks behind most courses. Some great views to add to the experience. Will definitely return.
Nest Drained Winter Course
If you want to play a course that’s super well drained after all the rain then this is the best course I have played
Lovely views
Burnley Golf club is set in the most wonderful lovely countryside. The course is challenge to anyone from a scratch golfer to your average club player like me.
Great golf for your money. Lovely quirky holes and easy to follow from one hole to the next.
Well worth a visit
It's always good to see a course that has all its greens on during the winter months. Condition was great and weather was great. Hopefully back there soon
Too many randomer fitting in between tee times
Really great course and enjoyed.
Other than random players appearing throughout the round in front of me, playing a hole and then going off and playing a different hole and basically fitting in between groups and creating slow play.

Tough course to play both physically and mentally.
Great course
First time I have played Burnley and really impressed. Bargain for the money. Pro in shop really friendly. Highly recommended, but beware you need your A game it’s a toughy. Will be returning
Great course
Lovely course. Some tricky holes. Can imagine it being a nightmare in the wind or rain but great conditions when we played and in great shape.
Good testing course
Always a challenge here. You’ll need a trolley. Would recommend.

Great course to play, if you stay on the fairways great but once you go in the second cut that's when it becomes challenging. Certainly will be going back now I know the layout.
Staff very friendly and welcoming, can't wait for the next round.
Beautiful Burnley
Really great course, beautifully kept, greens true and quite fast. Great views for miles on this excellent moorland course. Highly recommended
