Good day
Good winter course. Finally seem to have spent some money… course in good nick for December
Interesting
One of the best laid out courses I have played locally (5 star) but having lost their greens a couple of years ago the new greens are not up to standard, if they were better would change clubs tomorrow.
Caldecott
Great course for beginners due to it being very open and forgiving.
Caldecott Hall
Great course for beginners as so open. Some great holes here. Staff are amazing and really friendly. Facilities are great. Couldn’t fault the value for money
Improved from last visit
The greens have much improved since my last visit although in need of a cut. The rough has been trimmed which improves pace of play. Friendly staff as always and facilities are good but woeful practise green and course bunkers in need of some sand. Overall a pleasant round of golf.
Greens/ bunkers
My issue with the course is the greens they need attention in need of cutting.
Bunkers don't have enough sand and what sand there is, is like hitting concrete at times.
Other than that a lovely course to play
A nice course
There are some difficult holes to play with fairly deep bunkers. A long walk between the 7th and 8th hole. The greens are ok but not brilliant. The afternoon was very quiet with hardly anyone playing. I will play there again
Great course
I would recommend everyone to try this course
Its great hard and easy for the beginner or more experienced player.
Never again
Omg the worst golf course I’ve ever played on SHOULD NOT BE OPEN never lone charge you to play on it how they get away with charging is beyond me horrendous course had to rate before submit otherwise would be no ratings
Great course for the price
Brilliant course layout, super cheap for 18 rounds. Yes the greens and fairways have taken a battering but that’s the weather for you, but generally it’s a great fun course which has some nice open fairways and fun par 3’s also.
Great course
I find this course hard and easy a great course for beginners and more experienced players.
The course offers you testing holes which you'll want to improve on your next game which i have myself.
I love the course and hoping to become a member next year.
Good course for moderate players
The first time we have played this course and had a really good day, will play again. Very friendly helpful staff.
Greens need work
Course lay it is fantastic and in current drought conditions the fairways still had a little grass. The greens really do need some work. The staff as ever were very accommodating.
Burnt out!!
The fairways were burnt out and awful, greens bumpy and impossible! Once where there looked to be bunkers were now filled and overgrown. Poor, really poor. I'm struggling to even consider it a golf course.
