Great layout with bunkers protecting the greens. Fairways are forgiving. Played it in winter with the winter tees behind quite forward. It was wet in places on the fairways but the greens held up very well, all ran true and no water.

Not sure how much it is during summer but would definitely consider it.

Good layout greens need work but good course love the golf mates. I give it one star coz of the young pro in the shop is a jobs worth. They was 10 to 15 minutes gap for tee offs times we travel far we turn up early I can understand if it was dead busy but it was not i didn't see what the problem was we played there 2 weeks before and the head pro dave was a top bloke let us go out no problems I spoke to a group in front who turn up early they said same thing about him

The course slowly grows on you adding challenges along the way. A little difficult to find the way between green and the next tee box on some holes (some signage would be nice), but maintenance seems to be continuous in order to keep the course in a good condition. Some major work meant the 8th hole was closed, which meant a long walk to the difficult to find 9th tee.

Friendly welcome from the pro and one of the members got the round off to a great start.

Greens were immaculate all the way around, very impressed.

Pace of play was good and 3 oldboys let us through which was great.

A few good holes on the course and a few which can only be described as dull.

However, overall, a decent enough way to spend a Friday afternoon.

The course condition was the best I’ve played in the south Manchester area. The holes have a good mix of short and long hitting with the seemingly easier holes well protected by traps. The ground staff have done an excellent job on the greens and the tress around all of the holes make the course look beautiful. The only drawback is that the layout of the holes can be quite confusing if you are not familiar with the course.

Last time I played this course it was a right mess.

Dodgy greens unkept fairways ,a real round spoiler .

But thanks to a new green keeper it’s a new course ,how I remember it years ago when I used to play here regularly.

I will definitely return for more of this course with challenging holes and a welcome from staff and members like no other club you will go too in the area .

The day was spoilt by a four ball of gentlemen who held us up for nearly the whole round. We were waiting on every tee and approach shots. Etiquette is an important part of golf and it was a shame that none of the gentlemen wanted to show any knowledge of it. Obviously this did not just impact us but the whole field of players behind.

Lovely course with medium level of difficulty .. tees were a little bit tough I places but fairways and greens good albeit the greens are small

The course is easy going , few short par 4 easy for a birdie chances.

Have played this course several times, always challenging with great greens. Staff have been friendly and welcoming. Many different types of holes, some open, some very tight.

Will definitely return and would recommend this hidden gem
