Enjoyable day
We were welcomed by a club member who was acting as starter. The course was challenging, the fairways were parched and brown due to the hot weather over the last 2 months. However, the greens were in excellent condition and that made the course a fair test.
The course was great value and I would definitely play it again.
Pleasant surprise
Considering we played the course in early February, the course was in excellent condition. The course has very good drainage which meant the all the fairways and greens were firm and very playable.
An interesting course which was enjoyable to play. We look forward to playing it again in prime conditions in the summer.

The friendliest people I’ve ever met. Cannot do enough to help you and make your time there enjoyable. New groundstaff are working tirelessly to improve the course conditions which look as though they’ve been a little neglected in parts. They’re winning. The course is really interesting and is a proper test of your skills and judgment. Lots of water, plenty of dips, enough lumps to get you panting particularly on the last 3 holes. The 8th is my favourite hole around these parts. So impressed I ended up taking their taster membership. Great value. Pay £3 and play their Open Comp on a Friday. Great fun.
Good for 9 not for 18
This course is in need of some TLC, the front and back 9 are identical with no variation on the holes. This could be a nice little course but needs a bit of a redesign on some of the holes to add more variety. Some of the greens were also poor condition.
A picturesque course
The staff in the clubhouse were very friendly and a nice putting green to practice on before you start. The tees are not the best as they have some weeds on them, but overall they are fine. The fairways are in great condition with very good grass to play irons off. There is many trees on the course but don't interfere with play. The greens are in reasonable condition but some could do with being brushed to get leaves and seeds off them. The worst point of the course has to be the bunkers as they are as hard as concrete and lack the component of much sand. But overall I would recommend this course as one of the best 9 hole courses I have played at and is a good challenge.

I played here on Sunday what a gem, plenty to think about, great layout and most holes are interesting, loved it for my first time here, will definitely be coming back, staff very accommodating.
