Picked up this for an afternoon rate of £22 was turned into terrific value.

Course was in really good condition apart from one green on the back nine.

The layout is really good with each hole being its own challenge and no up and down layouts like so many.

Generous fairways for the most part but they certainly tighten up towards the end of the round.

Second time playing the course. Another good time playing, from start to finish. No rush, we'll managed course and good conditions.

Our groups first time at this course. Was a great visit from start to finish. Friendly staff throughout, course in good condition and friendly players playing.

Would definitely recommend, we're looking forward to returning. Didn't use any parts apart from shop for a drink and the course.

Course in fantastic condition and excellent greens. Hardly anyone on course so not rushed.

Cant argue about anything, had entire course to ourselves, course was in great condition. Grabbed a couple of cans from the new bar on the 10th, to enjoy the back 9 with. Perfect, certainly the best condition I’ve ever saw the golf course in.

Great experience all round. Friendly staff on arrival, very enjoyable round of golf with the corse in excellent condition. Will be playing here again.

I love this course I am 62 and can walk this course with relative ease. The par fives give me a chance to reach in three and most of the fairways are pretty wide. It's well kept and offers a very good challenge with the variation of each hole. One or two water hazards but keep it on the fairway and you can get a pretty good score.

Club shop, staff, club house, driving range, course layout all exceptional.

Course condition really let it down. Lots of "GUR", temporary tees but the greens left a lot to be desired. Bare patches, weeds (albeit cut down), and bare metal caps on disused holes made for a frustrating short game.

Oh aye, drive down the right on the 10th, groundsman cutting the grass didn't stop while we played through, instead he continued up the right and chopped my ball in half: just added insult to injury.

The course was in excellent condition proving a real challenge. Fairways were in good condition and greens rolling very well. Only problem faced was due to a wedding there was a photographer wondering down a fairway seemingly oblivious. The course itself however was outstanding and we will be returning

Course is in really really poor condition, it had not rained in 3 days and the course was in terrible condition, should not have been open in my opinion, the ground was waterlogged and the greens were thick, tee boxes waterlogged too so unable to tee off at times. I had to move from the tee boxes to other areas.

Played this course yesterday for the first time. Was pleasantly surprised, nice atmosphere and surroundings on the course, good variety of holes, I tended to notice a lot of par 5 and par 3 holes but perhaps that was just me.

Before teeing off, pro shop guy was nice and friendly, warned me it was very wet under foot, carry only and some temps were on, out there he wasn’t wrong it was very wet in places and there was some work taking place.

I would recommend and would like to play it again in dryer conditions.
