Golf Day
Course was great had to follow the map due to first time but great staff also spot on
Really good value
Good front 9, back 9 a bit sort off the yellows, would like to play the white tees when there on . All in all great value for money will be back.
Pleasant game of golf at the Villa
Very pleasant visit to Roseberry Grange (known locally as Grange Villa) - only disappointments were condition of the greens which are still partly in winter mode and ongoing problems with the very neglected overflow car park which needs a good tidy up when funds permit. For anyone that hasn't played the course before it's well worth a visit - at first sight the course appears open and relatively easy but you will find some challenging topography as you get further round with some partly blind tee and approach shots ready to catch you out if you aren't paying full attention - the 14th can be especially testing if you aren't careful but the views from the upper part of the course more than compensate for the steep climb!
Great fun and great value
Played the course with my 17 year old with both of us of no better than average standard.
Even though it was only early April the course was in good condition bar one or two exceptions who ch we were told about before teeing off.
Very enjoyable course with plenty of undulations to make it sufficiently challenging.
Speed of play was good and the group in front graciously allowed us through without any issues
Pleasantly surprised
Found the course in very good condition. There is also a really good variation of layouts which keeps your interest. Very good value for money
Lovely Course
Very challenging course lots of blind tee shots so difficult to judge being a first timer Greens and fairways were in excellent condition.
Very hilly course the par 3 13th is the steepest heart attack hill I have ever played good job there is a seat at the top I'm 62 and reasonably fit but that climb was exhausting. Will play it again great value for £20
Hidden Gem
Really surprised me, ive lived 10 minutes from this course all my life and didn't know about it.
Slow play ruined it slightly but maybe a problem of the day not the course.
Has some really qwerky holes which made it interesting, some par4,s are quite short I was managing to hit greens a couple greens with a 3 Hybrid however I do play quote a long ball anyway.
Loved the layout, really suits a player who hits a draw
Will definitely return asap!
Great course lots of challenges
Great course, big hills, lots of technical shots fast greens, great condition
Excellent experience. Great course, facilities and a very friendly welcome. I'm considering becoming a member
