Great course
The course was in absolutely fantastic condition and the pace of play was good.
Challenging course but not ridiculously hard.
Excellent value for money and well worth the 1and half hour drive north.
Given the opportunity I would play there again tomorrow
Slow and grumpy 4 balls spoiling rounds….still. Slow play, no ready golf, and then not allowing people to play through.
The fairways were like playing out of the rough there were no markings to let you know how far from the pin and you have to look at the map on the back of the score card to find the next tee off plus they had sand and holes on the greens yes I know we have had some bad weather but I’ve played a few different courses over the last couple of weeks and none of them had this done.
I did speak to someone who was a member and he says it’s been a bad winter this year that’s why the course is looking bad as I say I played at Ryton last week and the course was spot on. I am going to have another round in the summer to see how good the course is
Good course
The best course I have played this winter. With only 2 temporary greens
Excellent condition during winter
Played late February 2023, and found the course to be in really good condition. Club has simple winter rules in place to protect the fairways and approaches to greens and tee boxes. Compliments to the pro and greens teams for maintaining the course, and keeping the greens in such a wonderful condition, well cut, managed and running true. Slower groups in front allowed me to play through without hesitation, and a good day out rewarded with a good score. will visit again
LOVELY DAY AT THE BRIDLE PATH GOSFORTH G.C..
Enjoyed our day on a well kept golf course.condition of course spot on .greens very good. Canny little clubhouse with friendly staff who cater outside as well will play here again via GOLF NOW
Great greens on nicely challenging and v interesting course
Great greens on nicely challenging and interesting course
Pace of play
Very good course. Easy to play and challenging holes. However pace of play and awareness of holding up other golfers very poor.
Super greens
A cracking little course to play. The greens are in very good condition and so was the rest of the course. I played this course along time ago 25 yrs ago and was glad to play again. Well worth it and a nice pint of belhaven bitter afterwards
Nice secluded course
Would recommend a round at Gosforth. Nice course with some interesting holes and Ouseburn meandering through In residential Gosforth but you could almost be in the countryside as its very peaceful on most holes.
Cracking little course
First time playing here and it’s a cracking little course not the longest of courses and if you drive the ball well you’ll shoot some low scores here, I played early morning and the green staff were out on the course clearing the greens of sand, so a few of the holes I’d played still had a layer on it, but it didn’t spoil it for me. The course is well laid out with only 2 par 5’s back to back and the par 3’s have more than enough bunkers on them to make them a challenge, overall a good course well worth another visit
Good course
Good course friendly. However pace of play at times poor. Was a number of older players who failed to allow people to play through and created a delay on back 9.
