Grange Park Golf Club

£30 for a Saturday afternoon round. I expected a course which was looked after well and unfortunately it was below par of other courses ran by the council in Sheffield area and each of these are playing better conditions.

It’s a shame, the staff and the layout are good but the tee boxes are all wavey and the greens are bobbly and not very well groomed.

The course should be £20 at the max

Since new owners have taken over the course is improving all the time.

Still work to be done on bunkers, and greens are getting better.

I stopped playing this course some years ago because it became a joke.

Have now gone back the past couple of years.

Long may it continue to get better

This is in my top 3 favourite courses,great layout wide fairways and nicely shaped holes.love it oh and only £18 a round.

Abit overpriced for £35

Tee boxes had hardly any grass to play off of

Greens were slow but bare or dark patches on

Bunkers were rock solid like playing out of building sand

Fairways weren’t too bad

Friendly staff on the till

Course layout was decent and scenic

Club house was basic and the long driveway down to the car park full of pot holes

Nice to try out but wouldn’t rush to go back again

This is a lovely course with some lovely, challenging holes.

However the tees and greens were in very poor condition. It doesn't matter so much with the tees but the greens had lots of bare patches and weeds.

Sort the greens out and this is a very nice course.

First time we've played the course.Loved it,got the round for £18 well worth it wouldn't grumble paying £25 either.Some beautiful par 4 holes.My only negative was the greens where a bit dried out and patchy but holes where positioned away from problem areas,We will definitely play the course again.

Having not played this coarse for many years,loved playing here again.Forgot how lovely the layout was with varying holes and nice wide fairways!!😂.The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I look forward to visiting again soon and may well make a member soon or use the flexi system available.Thankyou

Played with my son and enjoyed this course. Lovely views and challenging holes. Walked with trolley and plenty of hills so need to be fairly fit to play this course

First time playing this course read some reviews and good and bad so went to try it. Glad I did what a gem of a course yes it needs a bit of work still tee boxes a bit bare but doesn't affect teeing off bunkers definitely need sorting!! But what a fantastic course the holes are great and not very often I take a picture on every hole but I did on this fairways and greens are good and layout is great definitely recommend it go play it and find out you won't be disappointed

Not played in a few years due to poor condition, I would definitely go back the only bad things is the sand is solid and the tee boxes need a little attention, fairways and greens are spot on

Lovely course with some great views. There are some challenging holes that are set out on a beautiful hillside. First class staff here.

Played here lots of times in the past but not in the last five years. Apparently it’s been took over by new owners after the last ones neglected it big style.

Well firstly it needs some tlc and the front 9 more than the back nine. Greens and tees on the front 9 are poor but still playable . The back 9 is much much better. The bunkers are better as well . All the fairways are beautifully cut as is the rough. There is no boring holes on this course that’s for sure . The views are tremendous. Clubhouse and outside bar area is fantastic. We paid £17 each for a 11am tee time. It’s a bargain at that price. We will be coming again and I’m sure the course will be back to its best. Please give it a try and support the new owners as it will be a real shame if it was lost.

Wow not a soul on the course very surprised as it played really well fair bit of wind and odd shower but impressed with it a couple of the back 9 tee boxes could do with abit of attention but apart from those course was spot on

Flexible membership is definitely an option

Have not played this course since last year and could see the improvements, was very quiet which is not a complaint, buggy was easy to access and very clean.

Can see the improvements they’ve made - little more to go but a definite improvement on last time I played. Look forward to returning soon!

Had heard some negative reviews but the course was fine and value for money.
