Had a great round on this lovely course for my 1st time playing it. Well laid out course with a good mixture of holes that has something for everyone. The Tees, fairways & greens were all in a superb managed condition, the rough was quite light but if you stayed off the fairly wide fairways you will pay the price on certain holes with thick bush & tree cover causing issues. Really looking forward to playing this beautiful course again, its definitely 1 of my favourites in & around the Newcastle area, man in the pro shop aswell was very polite & helpful so well done Heworth, great course & well worth the money

Heworth it.

Nice course, not too demanding to keep ball in play. Greens were fast but in good condition. Enjoyed the round. Bar and restaurant are very comfortable and Sunday lunch was tremendous. Definitely will be returning.

Great flat course

Definitely recommend the course specially to new players as it’s flat and not a lot of places to loose your ball a lot

Drainage seemed really good aswell as it had rained for a few days but couldn’t really tell

Course was in good condition considering the dry early season time of play.

Greens had been hollow tined and top dressed so given time will be excellent but caused issues with holing out.

Lovely course layout and very friendly staff ,great pro shop and is a must play if you are in the area.
