Rushed, felt a waste of money
Arrived 50 minutes early to warm up and stretch properly before teeing off, to then be told by quite a rude member of staff behind the counter that there was an error with the booking system and we had to tee off asap giving no time to practice putt or loosen up hitting some balls in the net, also wasn’t mentally prepared to tee off straight out of the car at a new course.
And then being held up at every tee box by multiple slow 4 balls in front.
Bad experience and a waste of money for a day out, won’t be returning here.
Stunning
This is a stunning course. Good condition. Very hilly, so cracking exercise. Will be playing again in the near future
Stunning
Loved every minute. The course is sculptured into the pancake, views to die for and not a weak hole. It’s a must visit for me!
Need plenty of energy, very hilly if that's the right word, quite challenging and interesting. Good conditions, views are amazing. Not sure would play on a windy day, quite open.overall nice course.
A must play course
A very welcoming course, the professional shop was very helpful. Considering the recent bad weather, the course was in great shape, very fast greens. The views are spectacular, but you have to earn the right to see them, it is a bit hilly, but worth it
Kendal GC
A good course, excellent value for money, we like to visit in winter.
Pretty course, tricky in parts with a trolley (better carrying). Really enjoyed playing there!
Delightful course with amazing views
This is a hidden gem golf course in the Lake District. Plenty of blind holes and a good bit of exercise!
The signature 17th battleship hole is a real challenge.
Fantastic views
Fantastic views of the Cumbrian hills and mountains on this scenic course.
Buggy hire well worth considering due to the testing terrain.
Black coloured flags and sticks difficult to spot in the distance on some holes.
Challenging course but well worth the effort for the panoramic vistas of the surrounding countryside
Kendal golf experience
Very well maintained fairways and amazing views make this course a “must play” in the Lake District
Great course in very good condition
Great course with amazing views. The greens and fairways and in lovely condition.
The speed of play was great with no hold ups.
Excellent stocked pro shop
Well worth the effort
Not played here for a few years, but really pleased I played it this week.
Due to poor weather across the country for last several months, I was expecting some wet areas on this course - NOT SO! Everywhere was dry underfoot and the ball bounced and ran freely. I have marked the course down only slightly because a couple of the greens had a bit of moss on them and there are two places where holes cross over - not a fan of these but sight lines are good so you only have to beware of idiots not paying attention.
A good challenge for any golfer and with spectacular views in numerous places.
Thanks to pro who advised me to tee off earlier than planned to avoid being stuck behind some slower groups.
Bit Underwhelming
Condition was a little bit disappointing. Staff and facilities were great. Professional couldn’t be more helpful and friendly
Friendly golf club
Really nice course with fantastic views, which also means it's quite hilly. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The course was generally in good condition, but the wet weather had impacted some of the greens and tees.
Overall, great value for money.
Friendly golf club
A nice course set above Kendal with many fantastic views. The condition is a bit patchy, which might be due to the wet weather.
It's a good pay-and-play course with some nice holes and lovely views. The staff are very welcoming.
