Father & Son Golf

The Course needs money spending on it. Greens were uneven and would benefit from Top Dressing and rolling.

Course wasn't busy which is down to the fact there are better courses in the area. Having said all of the above we both enjoyed what Linden Hall offered and would come back later in the year. It just needs investment in the course in the form of machinery and materials.

Could have been much better.

A decent enough layout in a nice setting but in need of course maintenance, VERY slow greens, obviously not cut before the weekend, terrible bunkers, they are big but not much sand in them and rocky. The worst part was the shouting and screaming going on by drunken groups playing the course. Never again!

The pro was friendly though, hopefully he finds a better location to work from...

The linden tree pub is under renovation, hotel extremely over priced and in need of repair.

Course is great and in good condition, if you looking for food go to the local pub

Quality championship course

The couse design and layout are excellent and a true championship test with course management a key item to score well. The setting and location in Northumberland countryside with fantastic views are a must and definitely a bargain at the current green fees

While other places was closed this played really well

Greens were good and the holes are stunning in particular the par 3s with the water hazards

Love this course

17 great holes only one bland hole great location very picturesque shame it suffers when wet, which is a shame considering there should be great drainage and plenty of trees soaking up the water, but I would definitely recommend the course, 2 fantastic par 3’s the 4th and the 15th, some great dog leg holes, if it wasn’t 10 miles away I’d join, and I know this seems weird, but I’m spoiled for choice where I live I could throw a stone to 3 courses from my front door

Course looking unkempt

The course has a lovely layout and the greens were in good condition if a little slow. The tee boxes and fairways look a bit scruffy. Worst of all the rough has been cut but the grass has been left. On some holes even if you were a few feet from the fairway there was so much dead grass laying on the ground you had no chance finding the ball. The course needs series investment

Well-Designed Course

A course that starts out really solid, but come the back-9, it’s fantastic! Open fairways that invite you to attack, but challenges all over.

Lots of walking, mainly due to the distance between holes.

The back 9 really makes this course, but it has the perfect balance of four par 3s/5s and ten par 4s.

Love the challenge

This is a top course layout. I’ve played here a few times and always enjoy the challenge. Can get a bit heavy after heavy rain but overall it’s worth putting on your wish list. There’s no clubhouse as such, but the pro shop and changing facilities are good.
