Nice and challenging course would recommend
Nice well kept course, other than the tee boxes which were either waterlogged or sandy. Course has challenging holes with well placed hazards. Lots of dogleg holes which get you thinking as you need to plan your way around. I’ve played here twice recently and for the price it’s an excellent course
Great experience.
Very good golfing experience in Northumberland! Every hole is unique with the par 3's making a very good impression. Well worth it!
Good lay out
A bit rustic , greens good but if you want to keep your golf balls , do not play it.
Golf Ball Vacuum but a classic
Love this course. For the money, it's in beautiful condition and is always a challenge and delight to visit
Burleysteros on tour
Beautiful location excellent greens well-maintained course all together really great enjoyable , hot sunny day . Shame about my skills or lack of !!
Enjoyable
Lovely course , plenty time & well spaced out
long par 5 & short par 3 's we all enjoyed it
Great weather , with after drink at the bar sitting outside
in beer garden
lads day out
course in excellent condition bar the.bunkers which were short of sand and weed filled otherwise everything was great
SLOW
Played here many times has been slow on a few occasions but this time was painful!!! 4-ball in front of us were everywhere but the fairways and spent an age looking for balls on every hole! By the 9th hole we had had enough and walked off and headed back to the 1st hole hoping it would be quiet but then came across a 3 ball who proceeded to hit 3 balls each of the tee and one individual in the group kept losing his temper and continually kept smashing his clubs off the ground in temper!! We walked off at the 4th and went home!!!!
Good value.
The course was good but the fairways needed weeding and the bunkers are unplayable, no sand , weeds and just poor.
Still I only paid £16 after 2pm, so not bad and still enjoyable.
Linden hall
Fantastic value for money, the ruff is tuff if your wild of the tee, really good test of golf, unfortunately I wasn’t as good as the course.
Avoid the bunkers
Course is great except for the bunkers. Less sand and more rubble in some of them. Very firm. Other than that it's on goos shape.
Great layout
Tees excellent, fairways good, greens good (a bit green and slow), bunkers terrible (bone dry, no sand, weeds).
Layout is good and scenery quite spectacular.
Pace of play was dire, almost 5 hours on a Sunday afternoon, multiple groups gave up and walked off meaning the offending groups played close to 6 hour pace. If the club don’t think this is a problem they should or they won’t attract repeat visitors.
SUPERB 5☆ GOLF COURSE
I played here last September as part if a 2 round overnight hotel stay package, the course was very wet due to prolonged rain but Thursdays round couldn't of been more different, the course, the fairways & the greens were all in tip top condition so lush & green they were wow ! The course was so well maintained with barely a blade of grass out of place. The weather was terrific with the sun shining bright all the way round, we teed off at half 7 for 1 of the best rounds of golf I've ever had or should I say the most enjoyable. The fairways are perfect & lush to play off like a great green carpet & the greens are wow immaculate & they look so green, great maintenance team obviously but tricky at the same time to putt on, they run true but they have quite a few tricky borrows that you have to read at your peril. Can't praise this course enough & can't wait to play there again real soon. Club shop pro was a lovely, friendly & informative guy. We hired a buggy which is a good choice as between some holes there can be a bit of a hike from green to next tee box. Buggy here is up £5 from last September but then again look at the rise in price for electric so £25 now isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things. Well done Linden definitely be back as it's the best £21 for a round I've ever spent !
Great course but poor bunkers
Course was in decent condition all apart from the bunker which really need a lot of work.
