Suny day
One of the tougher courses in the manchester area and I would put it in the top 5 - like you way you go out on front nine and then come back as plenty of space to do this. would like to thank the two members from ashton who were good sports for letting me join them for the days golf.
Sunday morning play
Great course in excellent condition. Play held up by selfish 3 ball, very slow play

Just brilliant Loved it.

Top course and venue
The tees, fairways and greens are immaculate. A really authentic golf club in a great setting despite the uninspiring facade and car park.
But the initial underwhelming approach is quickly forgotten when you stand on the first tee staring up toward the first green.
From then on it’s just pure quality. A first rate course, with good post round amenities, friendly staff and equally friendly members.
Simply incredible
Usually £80 but got for £20 on GolfNow, absolutely worth the money, greens are 10/10 course is challenging but not too challenging and is laid out very nice! Pleasure to play here and will be going back!

A treat for the eye.
Excellent off course facilities. Most holes have a great shape and look to them with fairways sweeping between bunkers and pins well protected by humps, hollows and sand. Some great views across the surrounding areas also. At this stage of the winter a request to play off mats in the fairway is understandable but it would have been good to be provided with one to save the moving of balls into the first cut or given advance notice of the requirement.
In all the course did not let us down. Some of the grass winter tees were a little worn but with only one winter green in play it is holding up. The odd damp patch which again given we are in the heart of December is not surprising and I hope to get back in warmer climbs when I imagine the challenge will be different and the fairway bunkers being more in play.

Good challenge. Course held up well with the weather - very fair layout and some crackers of holes.
Fantastic course
Second time playing the course and have loved it both times. Great course in fantastic condition. Maybe the best course in Manchester.
Not worth £70
Thankfully we paid £21. Great deal. When we came to re book it was £70. Sorry not worth it
Great course, always in great condition.
I wouldn’t pay the amounts that are sometimes charged on here (£50+) but if you can get on for <£30 then snap it up as it is a great course and always in good nick. Really challenging too, you have to be on your game. It always makes it feel a bit more special when you see deer running around the course like you are in Scotland.
