Newbiggin Golf Club

Played here as my home course was closed because of heavy overnight rain, the course was in fantastic condition, fairways and greens exceptional, course was busy but everyone was playing at a good pace, everyone was friendly and quite chatty, if you like links golf I would highly recommend playing this course.

Great links course. Holes are all very varied. The greens are really difficult to protect the course on the shorter holes. In almost immaculate condition. Great views of the coast (if you blank out the power station!)

Pace of play was horrendous though. A 4 ball in front of us basically held the whole course up for hours. Some players behind us wouldn’t have got their rounds finished.

Very interesting course with some challenges but good fun to play with fast greens in very good condition, well worth a visit!

The hole layout info on each tee could be better and it’s probably a bit more expensive for a round considering the course facilities.

Played in seniors competition and course was immaculate. Best greens in the north east and some really pretty holes.

I returned to Nebiggin for the first time for 40 years, I loved the return, snow was covering many courses in the area, but the course was in great nick. It won't be 40 years before I am back

First outing of the year on the Spreadeagle Tour. The course was set up in the Dunes configuration and was in very good condition. The Dunes holes par 3s are challenging despite their length, and the par 4 is a worthy stroke index 1.

First time playing there and really enjoyed it. Shame the fog came in for the last 5 holes but we still managed to finish the round. Absolute bargain for £20 a round.

6 holes were unable to be played as there was sprinklers in use on the greens, shoulda have accepted my money if lots of holes were un playable.

Fantastic course and a little hidden gem on the North East Coast, In very good condition at a fantastic price.

Newbiggen is a fantastic and very challenging links course.....if its not windy where you live its windy in newbiggen so bear it in mind when you're playing it. The facilities are excellent and very friendly. Most of the holes have very good challenging fairways and the greens are lightening fast bump and run is the order of the day

Once again a very welcoming club offering a great value round of links golf. The course was in very good condition, has a good selection of holes and is challenging for golfers of all abilities.

I would recommend anyone to play here and if the weather's good the stunning sea views will add to your experience.

Arrived early for our Tee time went to check in and we’re told to tee off a soon as possible as course was quiet and rain due. Course and Greens in great condition especially after all the recent bad weather.

Definitely recommend a game here and will be back soon.

Ps. Special thanks to the Guy in the Pro shop. As we were driving out the Car park it started lashing down with rain and without the early start we would have been drenched.

First round of the year. Played here a number of times but this was the first time I have played the Dunes course configuration.

Greens where excellent for the time of year.
