First time playing here and will definitely play again, really good course and very forgiving

A glance of the club map, and the course is laid out well. A mixture of small and large greens , to suit all. Bunkers are not badly kept, but the one downfall for me, every fairway, has a ridged grove, even if you play a good drive down the fairway, you could still have a poor second shot, either playing above or below the ball, I don’t mind a few holes like that, but this course has every fairway ridged.

Great course we'll looked after the the greens where beautiful. Bit windy so was I bit of a challenge. Great course for a beginner like myself to learn on.

Used to be a member of this club and impressed with the greens, rough very deep, so any wayward shots are virtually a lost ball.

Staff very friendly and helpful

Despite living in Newcastle this was my first visit to the course, and I was not disappointed at all. The fairways and greens were in immaculate condition. The course has gentle inclines but nothing steep, which made walking perfect as the golf carts had been booked out, and if I’m honest I’m really glad as it’s so peaceful despite being in the heart of the city. I will be going back again - definitely worth a visit

Greens were amazing. Really nice course layout and a good meeting point for friends in the North East

Started playing golf here as I don't drive and it's within walking distance. Played dozen of times and it's the best condition I've seen the course in. Especially the greens.

Brilliant greens,friendly staff and fantastic value

Course is for the middle of a city. Very bumpy fairways but very nice and well. Maintained greens, fast. Tee times are only 8 minutes apart, really put a dampener on play as you were constantly chased and hurried on your play.

Not the best of courses I've played but value for money is 5 stars all the way .

played here for the second time since playing at the start of April after lockdown, greens were spot on and tee boxes were busy being cut when we were working out way around the course which is good to see. Definitely worth the £15

Not a bad course by any means. It’s in decent condition and very reasonably priced.

Good course for all standards of golfer and grate value at £15

Not the first time I’ve played here but I was very impressed how well the course has held up considering how much rain we’ve had recently. Greens appear well looked after and a great pint in the club house afterwards. Will definitely be back.
