I played this course around 10 years back and enjoyed it been back today the course has been altered not sure when

The condition of the course only open 3 days after 3months lockdown

17/18 very poor no grass / old tees by the 100s

Fairways

13/18 poor grass not cut may be due to new layout?

Greens

18/18 had been treated so not tue but this has to be done at some time

Overall very poor not sure what's happened but will not be returning council courses will give this a ten break

Lovely course nice mix of holes would definitely play again

Played a few times since the revamp and new holes added fairways excellent, greens were 6-7 out of 10 could do some work but I’m sure they’ll get better over summer.

OK on a hot deal for £13. Better signage, yardage markers, GPS needs to be mapped and daisy flowers need to be dealt with would improve it and make it much better. It's good for someone new to golf.

Nice little course , really enjoyed the first round back after a couple of months off (due to COVID) a good mixture of hole ! Fairways are close together so you have to be on your guard as stray balls can come from anywhere.

Nice course , back 9 holes were slightly better in my opinion but overall a great day out

Getting back to how it was a few years ago a joy to play..

Superb course and all round good day out. The staff are welcoming and happy to give advice. The course layout is very easy on the legs, very well maintained with wide fairways, and let's face it we all need wide fairways at times. And after you're all done, they do a very nice pint.

Good Course even in very wet conditions, still on normal tees and greens.

I used this course and it should have Never been opened due to weather and greens been flooded, I have asked for a refund and they said they will not give me one, do not use them as their customer service is horrendous and they should not be in charge, absolutely horrendous and their staff are abysmal

For the time of year the conditions are really good. We played another course a few days before and it was awful. Really enjoyed the round

I am not a member of any club so play different courses each week. I have played here before and enjoyed it. I was amazed how playable the course is despite the wet weather we have had. i have played a few courses over the last week which were more or less waterlogged. Will definitely play here again over the winter, The greens were good, the fairways playable.

First time playing this course and was really pleased with how it played considering the terrible weather recently. Already recommended to several friends who say they will make the trip and I will most certainly be returning.

Booked on my own to find I’d been put on with on with another pair which wasn’t a problem at all. The greens were in excellent condition as were 90% of the fairways just a few worn patches which were difficult to play out of. As for the course it was set out really well and provided a decent challenge for me I just wish my putting was better.

Good course only fault was not with course but with 4 players in front who did not let a 2 ball play through the whole course.

Course was in lovely condition. Can’t understand any negative comments about the course.

Always enjoy playing this course. One slight misgiving is that there is a member of the staff who is somewhat less than gracious! A bit sharp in his attitude. I have noticed this on more than one occasion. Shame.

Great little course, lots of par 4s long par 3s only bad thing is directions to the next hole and hole yardage information. You have to check scorecard for yardages as there’s no information on the tees, and very few markers on the holes? No 150 -100 yard markers on the holes. Flags are all same colour so no idea if flags are front-middle- back of greens. Few things I would suggest but great little course.
