Richmond Golf Club

Lovely course in a lovely setting. The course was in excellent condition and the greens were running surprisingly well. All helped by playing on a nice sunny and warm day. .

Every hole presents a different challenge, none of them easy. Even the stroke index 18 has to be carefully navigated. It definately helps to have played the course because some of the tee shotslook daunting but there is more landing area than you may imagine.

Greens good with some interesting slopes made more difficult in a strong wind.

Overall an excellent challenge and if your golf isnt so good then at least the views are fantastic.

Very windy with some showers but really enjoyed the round of golf. Quite busy but pace of play was good. Holes well signposted and fairways and greens in very good condition.Quite challenging with the wind and the 18th hole is a super finish. Clubhouse very good and fair prices for food. Staff friendly and helpful.

Every hole is different, nice woodland course. Quite undulating. Really enjoyed it.Quirky par 3 to finish. Found the greens tricky. Had lovely meal afterwards all staff were friendly. Would play again.

Course in excellent condition. Very quiet when we played so no problems with pace of play. Staff very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Greens very slick and tricky and in excellent condition.Course is quite difficult and accurate driving is needed. A good variety of challenging holes. and tees well signposted. 18th hole ,a par 3 is a cracker.

An interesting course with some challenging greens. A diagram at each tee would assist first time users, particularly where holes cross each other.

Good test of golf. Greens best for knowing but in good condition.

Booked via golf tee times. Course in great nick all round. Tee offs closer to some greens but did not distract from speed of play or enjoyment. Bar staff and catering excellent. Little hilly if you struggle pulling trolley.

Course was in good condition and was worth every penny we paid , I would play again and recommend

The course was far too difficult for anyone with a genuine handicap of over 10. There were no 100 yard disc or post markers which I feel are a must. However it was a beautiful layout and the views were great. If I ever get down to 10 hcap and can play to it, I'll go there again!

The course was in excellent condition not particularly long but with very tricky greens.

Some of the fairways were close together which led to groups playing of each others fairways.

It seemed to be a friendly club with good off course facilities especially in the clubhouse.

The course was in great condition and very challenging, excellent day out.

My wife and I have played this course many times in the past and always thoroughly enjoyed our visits. The staff are very helpful and obliging and the course is always well maintained.The food is very good value but you need to enquire when it will be available.as far as your visit is concerned.

Despite the recent hard rain in the region where most golf courses are either closed or very wet and muddy I found the course to be dry in most places. My shoes and trolley were reasonably clean after the game. The entire course is immaculate. There were ball cleaner, bins in proper places. Normal greens and only few temporary tee boxes, greens were good. The pro shop is well stocked, the Pro is friendly, actually the friendliest I can remember. Apart from huge practice field they have 2 very well maintained practice nets and putting practice ground. I must not forget to add the enjoyable layout and stunning scenery, historical location. There are so much nice things to say about Richmond golf course but I'll leave them to you to find yourselves.
