Romanby Golf & Country Club

Course was is in great condition. This was the first time I have played Romanby and was slightly disappointed by the course. Some good challenging holes particularly the 11th, but also some very strange ones like 13th, however the majority were pretty bland. What really spoilt the day was the pace of play, the back 9 was horrendous, stood waiting on every tee. I was told it was not normally like this but I will not return after todays experience.

Played this course again as it challenges us all on most of the holes. Was great until we caught up too players on the 9th who took ages too take their shots. Lost bit of interest and looked for balls-found a prov1 but got nettled about 500 times hahahaha. The signature par 3 11th over water tee box had been moved well over too the right and tee box was just rough grass pretty poor condition suprised me.

Really nice course, some interesting holes and generally very good condition. We paid less that £20 a head in June on a Sunday lunch time, you can beat that for value, nice clubhouse and facilities, thumbs up fro me

Played this course on and off for twenty plus years and can't remember it being it better condition. Greens were excellent and quite fast. Bunkers had new sand in as well as redeveloping some bunkers. Will play again soon

Good value for money. Some really good holes, would be better if they switched the 9 holes around so you finished on the current 9th hole. Greens would be better if cut shorter.

Excellent course played here about 6 times now and it is always in very good condition with a nice blend of gettable and challenging holes

Played the course a couple of times during winter and always found it in good condition with some challenging holes, having played it recently and coming i to spring the course was excellent, greens in great condition and although slow play due to the course being fully booked it did nit detract from a very enjoyable round.

Good day tees need levelling and greens need cutting and rolling very no let but did enjoy the course

I’ve played here a few times and the ball doesn’t usually get air born but it did today. Fingers crossed it’s better next time
