Good value round
Enjoyable course but felt pushed all the time as we were amongst many tees of elder gentlemen who kept playing right up behind us.
New warm up area would be nice. Staff very friendly with nice bar and patio area
good challenge
good layout requiring some shot selection to be in the right spot. Staff v good
Gone down hill
I used to be a member here about 10 years ago and it's barely recognisable.
I'm not sure how bad the winter has been for them but there was large patches of bare mud all over the course (it's nearly April!) other courses I've played recently have been playing mostly normal tees with the par 3s off the winter mats, not here, everything is winter mats and it felt really quite telling given the condition of the rest of the course. Greens had just been weed killed and aerated but were considerably better than the rest of the course! It's a shame to see it like it is. It's such a lovely course.
Best course
All greens are absolutely in good condition even in this winter time. Fairway is also in good condition.
All staffs are very friendly.
Great value for money
Thoroughly enjoyed playing this course! Well maintained and friendly staff.
Superb greens
full course was open after some crap weather with all greens in play and the greens were on point some of the best I’ve played.
Winter Gem
Fantastic course... conditions were brilliant considering it was mid winter... yes your playing off Winter T mats but the course and greens were in amazing condition. I will definitely be returning throughout the year.
One of the best courses in the area!
This course was booked as a half way house between 2 sets of friends from up north and down south. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by members of staff and members.
Cracking full English breakfast so set us up for the round in the nice bar area.
The course was in great condition and had its challenging moments.
Could not fault this course at all. Great from a golfing and socialising point of view.
Overall a good course lot work been done to the course some work still in progress , not to hilly will definitely play again
Ripped off by golf now
The greens had been hollow typed and sanded and not done very well ,so it was impossible to putt to any sense ,we all know these jobs have to be done we have no problem with that ,but when taking a booking and charging top price we should have been informed the course was not properly playable ,and like most courses do given a discount ,at which point we have a chance to either accept a cheaper deal for an inferior course ,or go else where ,we were Ripped of by Golf Now.
RUDDINGTON GRANGE
Played course a few time, good layout of the course, pace of play can at times be a little slow but would recommend if you've not played this course before
Rude not to play Ruddington!
Excellent course something for every golfer. Straight holes, dog left and dog rights lots of trees water and hazards. Bunkers with different amount and types of sand so no two shots are the same. Short and long par 4s and 3s variety yes. Some mixed doubles comp on the day we played was a bit slow but weather was great and scenery is wow so minor issue!
Play it you won’t be disappointed!
Ruddington
Great course but slow play took away some of the enjoyment
Tough but fair
Played a few times here over last 20 years and rarely seen the course in such good condition.
Fairways running well and suitably punished if you missed them. Greens were almost impossible to get the ball to stick but ran true..
