Scarborough South Cliff Golf Club

First time playing South Cliff but will return in the summer. Maintenance week unfortunately so the greens were not the best but loved the course and hole layout. Lots of short/medium length dogleg par 4’s but all great. Would definitely recommend a round at South Cliff.

I played this course on the 21st of this month

It was first time me and two friends had played it got a great deal on golf now,on arriving the pro was really helpful giving all the information about the course , the staff in the club house were great and the breakfast buns were good.

The course itself is split into two halves playing the first three on a parkland course then having a fairly long walk over the road to play the next seven on a links course then back over the road to play the last eight.

All in all the course is good value for money and we would play it again

Great course and layout with spectacular views across to south bay but very slow play as we were following a large competition field of the slowest players I have ever seen especially as they were all using electric carts. Would be a joy to play at a reasonable pace and the price I paid was very reasonable. Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic day out . Great conditions and stunning views over the sea. Will definitely come back again from Manchester.

I can’t express how wonderful this course is. The greens are fast, the course is stunning and the food and service is spectacular and the Proshp guy is amusing. We were also very lucky with the weather too, which certainly makes a differance . THANK YOU

We followed a charity comp which slowed us up which was a shame because everting else was very good

First time playing at Scarborough South Cliff. Played Bridlington GC the day before so was looking for somewhere to match that, South Cliff definitely did!

It’s worth playing the course just for the views from the 4th and 5th holes. Unbelievably beautiful, especially in the lovely we got this past weekend!

All the staff in the bar and the shop looked after us and made sure our day was fantastic!

The course was difficult in places for our standard but didn’t take away from the enjoyment at all.

Will definitely hope to come back one day!

It was my second time of playing the course,and considering the winter we have just had,the course was in remarkable condition,2 of my party had never played the course before,and they both said the course has that come and play me again factor,to which I agreed whole heartedly,the variety of the holes is amazing,

A great layout. Always enjoy the mix of parkland and semi links holes However never seenthe course in such wet condition. We are now in May and this is far from competition ready . A lot of bunkers need a lot of attention. .it was good value for the price, but would have been disappointed if we had yo pay the full asking price.
