Great little course

Really fun course, some tricky little holes that require plotting your way round. Most the fairway bunkers aren’t really in play off yellows, but not the end of the world.

Course was really firm and quite tough on a breezy day. Greens were slow but in great condition and rolling true.

Will certainly be returning.

Testing day

Picked a day with 30 mph winds. So very testing. Hardly anyone on so got round easily. Last 3 holes closed due to being wet. Better than North cliff in my opinion.

A windy blast

This was a challenging round due to the windy conditions. Some cracking holes, the cliff side was excellent but it must be said the rest of the course was not too shabby. 2 hoes currently closed 16 and 17. Which did take away a little of the experience.

Beautiful views

Really enjoyed the round. First 9 are mainly on the cliff tops with views across Scarborough bay and the dramatic cliffs of the east coast. These are more like playing links but wide enough to be foregiving. The wind made it really challenging.

Second 9 are tighter and more parkland.

All holes are well kept, greens fast and with tricky slopes there is always the possibility of 3 and 4 putts!!

Only negative i can say is the tees were a bit worn but this a nit picking and it was sjnday afternoon.

Didn'to into the clubhouse but people were enjoying the balcony whch looks over the 18th green.

Will go back asap.

Shame about the greed

As usual the course is very enjoyable, although 5 hour rounds are becoming the norm here during busy times.

Very disappointed that they charge £2 for a cordial with soda water. Profiteering in the extreme for free water and a dash of cordial. The Belfry don’t charge as much!!

Shame.

Slow play but enjoyable nice quality golf course

Half parkland half links this is quite an unusual golf course. Part of the course is inland and some of the holes are on the cliffs. Spectacular views of Scarborough. There is plenty of room so the course is not too mean until the last few holes where it gets quite tricky. The greens were in excellent condition. The lady doing the catering is a superstar and food is tasty. This is a very enjoyable golf course to play and well worth a visit.

Always a pleasure

Scarborough SC always worth a visit. It’s a shame the buggies are only capable of 18 holes as it is a stiffish walk but nonetheless enjoyable

A very enjoyable round

Really enjoyed this well maintained parkland course. There are some fabulous clifftop views and the only downside was having to cross a bridge and road after the first three holes and back again later. The greens were in good condition with the flags in some challenging positions. Very friendly staff in the pro shop and clubhouse.
