Seaham GC

Enjoyable first time playing this course.Quirky layout with some interesting holes.A little bit hilly in places which would be a struggle for an older player. The only real downside was the pace of play due to a lot of beginners on the course who obviously did not understand the rules of golf and were not letting other groups play through.Overall this is a course that is well worth a visit.

A very windy day at Seaham

Friendly members to wish us luck before we teed off. Course in very good condition fo the time of year. Unfortunately we had to cope with very strong winds which made life very difficult. Trolleys blowing over on exposed parts of course and needed to try and shape shots to allow fro the strong winds.

Overall it’s a good course, very well maintained and a challenging test of golf. Will return on a day when the wind isn’t blowing.

Enjoyable Round

Very well organised with a starter on the first tee, lots of people on the course so very slow play especially on the back nine. The course was in very good condition although the greens were slower than normal. Still a very enjoyable game even when the wind got up and very reasonable green feed.

Seaham

Was nice just to get a game of golf in.

Drove 20 minutes down the road as was closest course open after all the rain we have had.

Was very impressed, don’t get me wrong was very wet in places on some of the fairways but I thought the greens were in excellent condition for the middle of December.

A few winter greens were in play because of standing water on the main green’s & winter tee boxes were also on every hole.

The course has 5 par 3’s which are all brilliant in my opinion.

Will definitely be visiting again.
