Absolutely superb
Really enjoyed playing this course even though I didn’t play particularly well, which says something. There are some great holes, some really difficult holes and some that are perfect risk/reward holes. Greens were in great condition, play fast but true. Would definitely recommend and will be playing again. Great value for money and clubhouse staff helpful and friendly
Great course
Great course. Good test and excellent greens well worth a visit
Nice open course
Course is a parkland type course which is open and you don't have to be accurate off the tee because of wide fairways. Would recommend this course and great price.
Well worth a visit!
I have played this course several times via GolfNow and enjoyed it every time. The staff and members are a very friendly and welcoming lot to us visitors. The course today (June 2021) was in very nice condition with a very consistent good standard of greens. Some tricky holes and some great views from the higher areas of the course. If you have never been- well worth a visit!
Had gout so we never played coulnt find a phone number on golf now to cancel game so we lost 30 pound
Could be amazing
2nd ever round here after playing in the winter. I was disappointed by the greens as they were so sandy. I felt the greens were better in the winter. Overall the course is up and down literally with some testing shots required. Can’t fault the staff or service provided. Could be a hidden gem tucked away but the greens and some fairways need work.
Really enjoyed the round. Holes are different to one another and you don’t get that ‘samey’ feeling. Some parts were a little damp and fairways/greens could have been a bit better kept. But great value for money and definitely going back!
Friendly club
Haven’t played Seaham for over 25 years and must say they have been busy in the interim as virtually the whole course has improved. Trees have been planted to delineate the fairways. Fences erected where necessary and the general upkeep of the course is much improved. Well done to all involved.
Course is OK but there are better
Nice enough course and enjoyed playing the course despite the dreadful conditions. Missed 11th hole so think layout could be better and some holes are on top of each other.
Poor service
Drove almost 10 miles to find that they had closed the course without informing me. When I explained that I had been informed by another club previously of a cancellation they said that it was the responsibility of golf now to inform me.
