Awesome little course, a real hidden gem, will definitely be back

Played the course on a windy day in march after quite a bit of rain so not seeing the course at it's best .great lay out and nice club house will return in the summer and give it a go

Played Sedbergh many times over the years, with course conditions improving every time! A credit to the 2 groundsmen who keep it in outstanding condition.

Whilst only 9 hole, the course is very challenging for both long & short players, and provides excellent views throughout.

The only criticism is the lack of club house facilities which, unfortunately , appear absent regularly, despite several advertising boards identified en route to the club.

The course was in great condition, as always. I popped into the bar restaurant but couldn’t see anyone. However, the course was very quiet so I didn’t really expect anyone to be hanging around to serve coffee etc. I didn’t go all the way into the room so it could have been my fault.for not looking hard enough.

Don't let the fact that this is a 9 hole course put you off.....pin positions make a real difference when you play a second time! So friendly, the owner has done a great job. Views are wonderful, too many to list here!! The course was in excellent condition. It certainly is not straightforward. Raised greens, sloping fairways, well positioned bunkers and water (!), make it challenging. Food afterwards was well priced, generous in portion size and very tasty. Put this golf course on your must visit list!!

Course in great nick .and greens true and fast .great value for money .great views and every hole has its own challenges. Worth playling .

A fantastic and extremely enjoyable 10 hole course. Excellent condition with very fast greens. Although it’s only 10 holes the position of the tees for back make it feel like 18. The bar and food is great. Would strongly recommend this course

After reading the reviews 4 of us decided on a weekend away incorporating Sedburgh. I have to say that the reviews were spot on, what a great little course! Although we didn't realise it was a 10 hole course it made no difference at all. Some brilliant holes especially hole 5. We will definitely returning

Took the chance to play this course whilst travelling back from further up north and can only agree with the many previous reviews this is a hidden gem and well worth a visit and whilst it is only a 9 hole I agree with other reviews DON'T LET IT PUT YOU OFF as you do get a totally different approach on many of the fantastic holes on the different tee positions

If I have any criticism of my visit it was purely only that the greens haven't quite recovered yet from thinning and dressing and were a little bumpy and firm although it was burning hot

The views are fantastic and the differing shapes of the greens really keep you focused on your approach very very enjoyable I'll certainly be back and even if for just a quick 9 to break up long journey's up and down the M6

Staff were very welcoming as were members give it a go you won't be disappointed

Can't ask for more. Just make sure you don't religiously follow your sat nav as mine sent me completely wrong and half way up a farm track & fell
