Wonderful setting for a course that is in fantastic condition with well maintained fairways and greens really well manicured.

Some challenging holes that are far mor fun than standard flat boring courses and all set against the backdrop of the beautiful Cumbrian countryside. The course is a credit to the staff. Could have done with a beer after but found one elsewhere, Shame the clubhouse hasn’t been open on either visit this year.

All in all a great round on a great course and excellent value for money

After driving one and a half hours to play the course we found that it was closed and no one bothered to let us know.Shocking really!!

It’s a course that you’d enjoy to play any day or everyday. Credit to the greens staff, the fairways are exceptionally good. The greens whilst micro tined are still fast. The scenery, course layout and the challenge are superb. Highly recommended.

This course is tucked away in the valley. However, it has some lovely looking holes and is in great condition

This is a nice 9 hole course with different tee positions to make it into 18 holes.

There are a few courses near by if you wish to combine this course with a round elsewhere which we did on the day

Course in great condition considering the time of year and recent weather. There was snow on the surrounding hills.

Great views and greens were excellent.

There lack of carry due to soft fairways but the short rough compensated for this.

Well worth a visit, we will be back.

Just a brilliant course, best drainage I've ever seen. Greens were top quality for this time of year. And the staff are so helpful. Do not let it being a 9 hole but you off, the back 9 tees make it a totally different course second time round. We will be back

Staff are so helpful, the course was in amazing condition after lots of heavy rain. The river runs through and around the the course. Don't let the fact its 9 hole put you off as the tee boxes on the back 9 make it feel like you have played 18 different holes.

The course was in amazing condition considering the recent wet period and the deluge the night before. The drainage is superb. The extra hole making it a 10-hole course and some subtle tee changes on the back 9 almost give it an 18-hole feel. Greens were excellent and the river and other subtle little features add interest to the views and challenge. Highly recommended and a credit to the owner.

What a hidden gem this is. Some of the most memorable holes I’ve played. Love how the tee positions change for the back 9 too. Super friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Played there when down for a short break and had the course to ourselves all morning. Testing holes with small greens but course was in great condition. Due to COVID no pro shop or clubhouse open but the course is one to try with beautiful views. Take a few spare balls as water and heavy rough can make it tough on wayward shots.

Very enjoyable course in a lovely setting. Course was in excellent condition and was superb value for money. Highly recommend!
