Had been very wet, but course was in great condition.

I really like this course, its setting and the clubhouse. But I think the Covid excuse is now out-of-date and it's time to do something about the bunkers which have been left untended for months with many having grass growing in their bottom.. There is a huge delivery of new sand in the car park which has been there for months and it has not moved. Come on chaps!

Positives, greens were smooth except for muddy patches that were there 6 months ago. Bunkers were terrible almost unplayable. The course has been let go very rough around the edges. Not a green keeper in sight. The clubhouse was devoid of atmosphere.

Used to be a lovely little course in need of investment unless its being run down for a reason!

Course was in very poor condition. Bunkers looked like they hadn’t been raked for months and most of the sand had washed away. Hard to tell where the fairways ended and the second cut started. Greens had been spiked but had not been cut very well, there were tufts every where. We normally enjoy playing here, but this time we all came off feeling very disappointed.

Have now been here twice and both times its been excellent...the course is in great condition and very well maintained ..Will be going here again when I get the chance..cant recommend highly enough as its great value for money...

We were a two ball and flew round the first 12 holes - then final six had a large backlog of players.

Decent, pretty easy course.

9 holes are true downland and 9 are parkland so it is a varied mixture. Heavy rain has been around this last weekthus the bunkers were essentially out of play because they are flooded or muddy - unusual for this course. It's a bit puzzling that the driving range is presently for members only. Covid precautions would need to be followed in cleaning balls for all users - perhaps there aren't enough cleaning facilities but that should be solvable.

Staff very friendly and changed our tee time to give us more flexibility should it have rained hard. In the event this wasn't necessary but the thought was much appreciated.

When everything is operating in normal times, this is a 5 star venue. I like the golf, the setting, and the patio bar overlooking the 9th/18th greens and the Downs.

Course played in blistering heat. Greens and tees in excellent condition, fairways could do with some rainfall but still in pretty good condition.

Interesting layout with good challenging holes and some stunning views of the Surrey countryside.

Would definitely recommend

For anything under 30 quid this course is good value. The greens were excellent, the tee boxes were tidy and the fairways were mostly very good.

We were a walking 3ball and our only delay was letting through a 1ball, who did at least get on with it.

We kicked off at 3.40 and the only slight disappointment was that the bar was shut when we finished around 7.15.

I rated the difficulty as moderate because we played in very breezy conditions. I would expect to score very well on this course in calmer weather.

Anyway, great condition and good value for money.

This is a nice course, the greens and fairways are in great condition. Just don’t miss them, a ball In the rough is lost. It is extremely thick and seems to swallow stray balls up and hide them, even if you have a line and landing area to search. Although it’s a short course the layout means that the par 4s that should be a drivable Distance are inaccessible to reach from the tee.

Off the yellow tees a shortish but very enjoyable course. Greens in reasonable condition. Some challenging blind shots and definitely a course for the thinking golfer. Very tough and deep rough if you hit an errant shot. Some spectacular views and quite a challenge when the wind is up.
