Tankersley Park Golf Club

What an amazing course. Not easy but very rewarding. Members were extremely friendly and the Captain introduced himself and made me feel extremely welcome. Will definitely be returning soon.

Course was brilliant and it awesome condition. The greens are pure and quick. A few holes are far too long for most amateurs which is the only downside. A couple par 4s could be par 5s

Considering the weather and the state that most courses are in around the Yorkshire area Got to tip the cap to the green keeper of this course

Great course overall, played in March when everywhere is quite boggy - Tankersley staff clearly look after their course, was in great condition, especially for winter!

Course for December brilliant.

Slow play ruined it, 3 groups waiting to tee off on 8th. Rang clubhouse , someone came out said could do nothing about it asked if I came off qould I get lonely backmor voucher said yes. When I got back to club house after 9 he said no. Group behind me a 3 ball with 2 sets of clubs and 3rd man playing in jeans.

Disappointed in outcome from clubhouse to to give me a voucher for 9 holes. Cannot wait 10-15 minutes between holes

Well laid out course with fast greens.Also lots of up and down hill holes but none of them too long for the average golfer

Considering where we are in the year, the course is in excellent condition. Well laid out and the greens are very good and will be ideal come Spring

Great course, shame about temp greens but thats winter golf and in place for a reason, didn’t phase me though as I shot a very respectable PB of 85 😃⛳️🏌🏼‍♂️👍🏻

In great condition for the time of year, greens excellent, only negative no food on a Wednesday in the clubhouse

Was recommended this course as I was working in the Sheffield area but came away very disappointed. I know most courses suffered during the hot summer months but the fairways were extremely poor. Playing off winter mats with some located 50 odd yards in front of medal tees is not acceptable. Would I return, - no. Having played nearby Hillsborough earlier this year that is a far better option.

A few bits of the course are roped off now for winter but the conditions today were a good as summer , bunkers are full of sand , fairways are great and the greens are fantastic, I played 2 weeks ago and there were spiked and sanded but fully recovered now and there rolling beautiful , will definitely be playing again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time at Tankersley and definitely won't be the last , really enjoyed playing the well kept fairways and greens of this course I have passed many times but never played till now . A nice challenging but not too difficult course for me a 20+ handicapped weekend golfer , friendly staff at the pro shop and all the fellow golfers playing aswell . Will definitely be back and at the bargain price of £20 on a Monday afternoon it was a steal
