Abysmal course!
Abysmal course! Played several times last year. The course is in awful shape greens are like Sunday league football pitches!
All the GUR is the same again not one area seeded. Fairways also very poor. Tee boxes too How they can justify charging £25 is beyond me! After playing today I wouldn’t pay £15 let alone £25 again. Committee should be ashamed to allow a course to be left in this condition.
Great little track with great people
Turned up to play a round on my own. When I arrived I was informed that there was a competition on and pace maybe slow. There were a lot of members around and they all made me feel very welcome.
The course was fully open playing off tee boxes and greens which was fantastic for this time of year.
Great little track for a great price. Will definitely go back.
Nice condition
Pleasantly surprised, played the course last year,was very boggy in places,in much better condition,greens also better than last year,will be returning
Horrendous
We played at 9.30am only to be greeted on the 3rd tee by a screaming greenkeeper about trolleys on the tee which they weren’t and moaned at and filled about mats when we were told we didn’t need them in the club shop we walked off after 5 holes after being followed around
Hard to navigate around the course
It was difficult navigating around the course as a first time player. I missed out on four holes at one point due to not knowing where to go
Terrible conditions
We have not played here in over 2 years as the conditions were terrible. We heard through a friend that a lot of money had been spent on drainage etc so we gave it another chance. We lost balls that landed in the fairway due to plugging it was so wet. Even where we expected it to be dry it was now saturated. We got a hot deal at £10.99 so all was not lost, we won't be returning any time soon.
Poor hole signage and no advanced warnings of course condition.
We were disappointed to find on arrival, several holes were closed and playing off mats on the fairway and several holes on winter greens.. Advanced warning of course conditions would be appreciated. Also, because of the hole closures there were no directions to the next hole. Not the best experience of this course.
Interesting, flat course
Great course, thinking man's course. Welcoming pro ( Gary). Fairly flat, good greens. Only small gripe .... Had to play off mats on the fairway and in the rough. Otherwise superb value for under £15.

Last minute booking, friendly pro (Gary) .welcoming members, very interesting course. Good greens. Will definitely be back.
