this course never disappoints

Well designed
Beautiful course, friendly and professional staff. However, not practicing social distances with carts. I didn’t know that before booking my t time. Although one can always make a decision not to play because of the required two to a cart,.However, two to carts is not a safe Practice during this COVID 19 pandemic.
Thank you for visiting us at Mount Vintage Golf Club, however, we apologize for any misunderstanding regarding our current operations. We can assure you our staff is committed to the safety of our guests and as such have followed all local & state recommendations. We've been back to 2 in a cart for the last 2 weeks as the state of South Carolina has said this is acceptable. Additionally, we've told anyone that has asked about this both in the Golf Shop and at our cart barn prior to golfers getting assigned a cart, and have a recording on our phone system that states this information. Your feedback has been shared with our staff for any additional improvements, but please feel free to reach out to us if you would like to address any concerns further. We hope to welcome you back for another round soon!
Tough Course
This is a lot of golf course. Plenty of elevation changes. The only downside are some of the blind shots. That can't be helped with the hilly terrain. Fairways were nice and greens super fast although they were hard and stopping the ball was difficult. I will be back!

Mount Vintage
Was my second time playing this course. Weather was Great!! Course looked amazing! tee boxes were in great shape, fairways were great there was just enough give room between the rough and the wooded areas so if you missed the fairways a little it was not disastrous. greens were great and very consistent.

Great Golf
Excellent layout challenging all aspects of game. Greens in fine shape on all holes. Chart GPS very helpful especially if not familiar with layout. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Course
This is one of my favorite courses. This course is well cared for and is challenging yet playable for an average golfer. It has a lot of elevation changes that make for some really nice views. The cart paths are even in good shape(which my wife really appreciates).

Super nice place
This place is the jewel from awhile back. The course went though some tough times but now is immaculate! Get out there while you can for the current price. Played the blues and it was a tough day. Tough being challenging and fun. Take you "A" game and be ready for a fun time. Kudos to the members who really restored the course.

Beautiful course right down the road from Augusta National
My friend and I live in Columbia and took a day trip to play this course while also driving by Augusta National. We were not disappointed. This course is beautiful and in immaculate condition, the staff were super friendly, range balls were included with our purchase, and we definitely plan on coming back. Mount Vintage is an Augusta jewel on the SC side of the river.

Great Course
This was my first visit to Mount Vintage and despite some soggy conditions it’s in great shape. There are several blind tee shots and plenty of forced carry approaches. The greens have a lot of character and were smooth and well maintained. I hope to tee it up here again.

Great course
This is a great course. Layout is very challenging and you don’t get many flat lies in the fairway, as the course is quite hilly. Greens were in great shape and the fairways were good, but in a few more weeks they should be really plush. If this course were closer, I’d play it often.

cart wait
i had 11 1140 tee time
no one from 1130 to 1230 could get a cart-- All were out with the morning members- could have spread out carts better since they had all these late morning tee times booked- The PRO did give out rain checks so I think it was THE RIGHT THING TO DO. play the course

Range Fees
I’ve been coming to Mount Vintage for years. One of the nice things about this course is the available driving range. Today when we signed in the pro shop, the attendant told me that “since you guys got such a good deal on Golf Now, you must pay $10/person to use the range. The other people that we were paired with, also booked on Golf Now but they did not have to pay for the use of the driving range.
Everyone on the range got a free pass.
I did not pay for the use of the range but wondered why we were singled out.
Otherwise a good day on the course.

Another great time at Mount Vintage
Had another great round Mount Vintage. Appreciated all the COVID-19 measures they have in place. Spray the carts off and then power wash after each use. They don’t touch the pencils or score cards you pickup your own off a table no one has touched. No rakes. Foam in cups to keep you from having to reach in the hole. No rakes. In bunkers. Individual carts for those not in the same household. Only two people in the pro shop at a time.. can only ride in a cart with someone else if you live in the same household. Greens were superb. David and his staff go above and beyond. Just a great time.

Needs work
Greens, Fairways are Ruff. Needs to charge less than $50, maybe worth half that and put some money in it or close for growth. This course could be SO MUCH MORE!
