Verrado Golf Club - Victory Course

It is nearly 110° outside. There was no ranger to keep pace. The round was almost 5 hours of waiting. They did have two drink carts running, one for the front 9 and one for the back. The greens varied in speed. Some were slow and others were very slow. This made putting very inconsistent. The fairways were in good shape. Our biggest problem was the fargin ice holes behind us hitting into us 3 times. After the 3rd time my friend yelled back at them to stop. We parked the cart on top of a rise so that they could see us, but they hit into us anyway. They had no excuse to be doing this as they could clearly see the group in front of us all day and that we could not go any faster if we wanted to. It is jerks like this who ruin a round for you because you never know if they are going to hit into you again. They never once yelled "Fore". Did not attempt to apologize, even after one of their shots landed next to our cart while we were waiting for the green to clear. How do you not see that your ball landed near the group in front of you?!

I have played this course over 20 times in my life and it has NEVER been this bad. Awful shape all over. Fairways have lots of brown spots with no grass. Rough with no grass. Greens have lots of area with no grass and lots of brown spots. Green speeds were very slow for this place. They have no excuse either. The spring was great weather here and they we charging well over 200 in the high time.

I will check other reviews of this place before i would even consider coming back. Very Disappointed.

A;so the pace of play was terrible. We teed off at 7:06 am and it took 4:45 to play. It should be closer to 4 hours. Ranger did nothing to help speed up play

Received an email that said 2 players pay $85.00. We were charged 80.00 each! Boy even offered a lesser fee

Got great deal on golf now, overall course in excellent shape except bunkers have little sand- though I was only in one. Greens were a lot slower than practice green which made first few holes challenging to adjust. Excellent views of mountains and some picturesque holes. Feels like you are playing in a rock Quarry and is a unique experience. Fairways are generally wide. I would recommend course. The 18th hole is not to be missed, an unforgettable view.

It was another day on the course. Pace of play was nice, got tight towards the end. I think the group in front of me started drinking haha. The greens were really dry and patchy. Ball played hopscotch on a couple, but we eventually found the bottom of the cup,

I love golfing the Verrado courses. Founders of say is my favorite though.

Green were terrible! Don’t play until they cut and get them under control. Not worth $94.

Fun course, not too challenging, 18th hole is iconic.

Great course! Staff is top notch, friendly, informative and knowledgeable. Highly recommend playing it.

I enjoyed Victory at Verrado. The course layout was very good..a couple of quirky holes. 11 and 17 come to mind where knowing the course would be helpful with you tee shot. My only complaint would be the conditions of the greens on the course. The speed certainly did not match the speed of practice green..much slower and some greens were not in great shape. Would I play it again yes but I would inquire on the conditions of the greens before playing..

Course was in great shape and the greens were true.

One of the top courses in Az! 16,17, & 18 are 3 of my favorite holes in golf. The scenery, the layout and the great course maintenance is unprecedented! If you have a chance to play don’t miss out
