Fun Course
This is a fun course for most golf types. On the weekends the pace of play may be on the slow side but the course plays fair and weather is usually excellent. The value is really good for the cost of playing and has a great bar for the post round beverages.
Nice course in beautiful setting...
Greens were in good shape but the course needs more water and maintenance. Cart paths were mostly dirt and very dusty; should be maintained and narrowed to expand fairways and make the course more playable.

No water on green.
No maintenance
They are not up keeping.
Course location and layout is great

I hate to give reviews but I think it’s necessary. I know we’re in a drought here but the course looked like a cow pasture. Tee boxes were overgrown with weeds. Fairways were all over the place. High grass in some areas and almost none in others. Greens were fairly good considering the conditions. Won’t play it again.

Burn your money instead
An absolute waste of time and money. The course conditions are atrocious. Golf courses should have grass to play on, not concrete. Easily the worst conditions I’ve seen this year, and I’ve played 50+ rounds already. Pace is of play also felt horrible, but ended up right about five hours. We had to wait for every shot. Water fountains on the course are rusted out and in pieces. Not pleasant on a 95 degree day. That’s something the pro shop must warn players about. Pathetic.

Not a great course to play
This is my first and only review of a golf course and I’m sorry to say that this is probably the worst course I’ve ever played. The course itself was super dry and dusty with balls rolling down/off the fairway kicking up dust. There was even a tracker moving dirt in the middle of the fairway on the par 5 on the back 9.
There was a 6-some in front of us that was ridiculously slow and a single behind that was spending more time in the dry creeks looking for balls than playing the course.
For $30-45 you can find a lot better course. On the bright side the staff was friendly.

not much fun
My wife and I play Redwood Canton regularly. Today we were paired with what I was told were 2 singles .On the 1st tee we met one single but the 2nd single was a young dad with his 6 year old son (with clubs). The boy only hit a few balls but he played in the creek and in the greenside bunkers all day. Needless to say we didn.t enjoy our round of golf today. Should this happen again we wioll not return.

Worth the money
Cheap for how nice it is. Often there are deer and turkeys, which is a nice change from the usual geese. Some holes are narrow and some are wide. Honestly a great mix of different holes (uphill, downhill, over creeks, along creeks). The ground is pretty hard for the most part, but the back nine has some muddy areas.
Driving range is neat because it is a water range, but the balls don't go nearly as far as they should.
