Good course for a good walk
Condition in late Summer is not good. Avoid playing in winter, especially after raining.... extremely wet, some holes may be flooded. Good side: This course is super beautiful and very natural in Spring and Summer when it's dry. It's a short course, but quietly sitting in the back of Castro Valley. If you need to take your naive golf buddy for a run of golf, this is a good place. Even your game is spoiled by your friend, you won't feel mad. Because this is a course you won't take a bad shot too seriously.
Cart paths need to fill holes, trim some trees on the cart paths.
Staff is super friendly,very helpfull. Course could use some help on the cart paths, a lot of pot holes that could be filled ina couple of days. This would help keep cart on the cart path. Love the wild life. Keep up the good work.

Kids in Charge
The course was enjoyable along with great company. But new management has a bunch of kids running the show. Made a reservation with cart but they were out of carts for a Sunday. And then they would not refund the cart fee because I made an online reservation. No experience or maturity. Send the kids to Sunday School and staff your course with adults and not juviniles.
