El Prado Golf Courses - Chino Creek
About
El Prado Golf Course in Chino offers two 18-hole courses, Chino creek and Butterfield Stage. Chino Creek is the longer of the two at 6,858 yards from the back tees. It is also considered more challenging but both are player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. As its name would imply, the Chino Creek runs along the entire length of the golf course. You find water in several different forms throughout the course including lakes and meandering streams. The layout is spread across rolling terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Several of the holes begin from elevated tees and it's likely you'll face more than one uphill battle. Trees and bunkers also come into play but the fairways are wide and forgiving. It's not an overly difficult golf course but beginners can also try the shorter and less challenging Butterfield Stage Course.

Hmmmmm
Greens are healing from being punched.
Course condition is terrible. It’s too bad because Chino Creek is a challenging course but the lies and condition make this place unnecessarily more challenging than needed.
First time
Look forward to going back and playing the course in the near future.
Chino Creek
The course has not been maintained. The fairways were in very bad shape. Additionally, there was backlog and had to wait at least 5-7 minutes to tee off after the 9th hole.

Slow play, rough cart paths
Really need a marshall to move pace.
Cart "paths" in terrible condition

Golf course not bad few Dead spots here and there in fairways but not terrible. Greens were aerated recently but healing up nicely pace of play is usually not bad. 4 hour round on a Saturday. Good practice areas grass range. Can’t beat 44$ on a weekend

Great Course with a Great Value in So Cal
First time play here, pace of play is fast although I was riding. Maybe next time I will consider walking.
It is a nice course with reasonable price. I will definitely recommend this course to any of my friend.
horrible golf course
in terrible shape. there were no concrete cart paths, all mud and dirt. the greens and fairways were the worse I have ever played.

Had a good day of golf
The weather was cool and slightly overcast. Greens in good condition and pace was good.........nice day
Accuracy is key
This is a fun and beautiful course. Great treelines and creek crossings. Be accurate or lose balls, sometimes its better to go short.
Chino charmer with the crackle of electricity
A solid 3.5 stars right now as the greens have been recently aerated so a bit bumpy. Otherwise it’s a solid course. It wasn’t too crowded and I finished 18 in 3 and a quarter. The chino creek runs through many holes forcing you to layup. Enough hazards make it interesting. I like that fairways are wide with ample room between them. Cart paths can use improvement as they are in rough shape. Good value for the money. It’s in chino so expect warmer temps compared to beach cities.

Creekside is solid
I played butterfield before and that course is really rough. Creekside is really nice , solid fairways and good greens. I would give Creekside a solid 4/5 stars and butterfield 2.5/5 at best.
Forced to Wait
Golf Now tee times you have to wait to play. I had to wait almost an hour until my official tee time. Meanwhile no one ,during that hour wait teed off as I stood there waiting to play. This wait time only applies to Golf Now players!
