El Prado Golf Courses - Chino Creek
About
El Prado Golf Course in Chino offers two 18-hole courses, Chino creek and Butterfield Stage. Chino Creek is the longer of the two at 6,858 yards from the back tees. It is also considered more challenging but both are player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. As its name would imply, the Chino Creek runs along the entire length of the golf course. You find water in several different forms throughout the course including lakes and meandering streams. The layout is spread across rolling terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Several of the holes begin from elevated tees and it's likely you'll face more than one uphill battle. Trees and bunkers also come into play but the fairways are wide and forgiving. It's not an overly difficult golf course but beginners can also try the shorter and less challenging Butterfield Stage Course.

Course was in overall great shape. Couple narrow fairways. pace of play was bad at sometimes due to slow walkers on longer par 4 & 5 holes. Restrooms during course were clean and stocked. ball washers were out of commission. tee boxes were clean and well maintained as well as greens. rarely saw divots on greens. overall great course good mixture of par 3, 4, and 5s. Some holes challenging and hazards were not that bad. Fun course to grip and rip. will be back soon.

Chino Creek was fun. Impressed with pace of play. 8:25 tee time on Sunday and done in 4.5 hours.

Good layout, needs some care
Fun layout, but needs some caring for. Sometimes didn’t know where the rough and the fairway began. Greens were bumpy even though we were an early group out.

Not Bad, a lot of bare spots
If they filled in all the bare spots, it would be fine. Not a bad course for the money. A little dusty. I'm from Ohio and am used to everything being green.

Slow Play - NO MARSHALL
The conditions were fine for this time of the year .The front nine was good about 2.5 hours. The back nine was a joke. Each hole took 30 minutes. We played through #15 and then quit. It is not fun to wait 10- 20 minutes at each hole. Played really good the front nine but the back nine there was no rhythm when it take 30 minutes per hole. PLEASE HIRE A MARSHALL!!!
