El Prado Golf Courses - Chino Creek
About
El Prado Golf Course in Chino offers two 18-hole courses, Chino creek and Butterfield Stage. Chino Creek is the longer of the two at 6,858 yards from the back tees. It is also considered more challenging but both are player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. As its name would imply, the Chino Creek runs along the entire length of the golf course. You find water in several different forms throughout the course including lakes and meandering streams. The layout is spread across rolling terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Several of the holes begin from elevated tees and it's likely you'll face more than one uphill battle. Trees and bunkers also come into play but the fairways are wide and forgiving. It's not an overly difficult golf course but beginners can also try the shorter and less challenging Butterfield Stage Course.

Was a good day for golf..condition of course was overall good..like the improvements on the new bridges on both courses...now need to work on parking lot
Perfect day for golf but golfers behind us are very rude
It was a perfect day to play golf, it was a great day till group behind us started to hit on us when we were still in fairway, There were a three some in front of us and we had to wait on them in few holes but three some behind us started impatient tee off before we hit our second shot. At the last hole they even yelled at us when one of us start the back swing. Such a low class people.

Great Value - Fun Course
El Prado (Chino Creek) is a fun course with some water hazards and a few challenging hole layouts. Overall a great day of golf with friends. The Pro Shop and bar staff were friendly. We finished 18 holes in about 4.5 hours on a Sunday which was great.

Very Disappointing
This course has potential to be one of the most beautiful and coolest track, but due incompetent staff and rules, it was one of the worst golf experiences I’ve had. First, the driving ranges as closed and the staff in the pro shop were delayed on getting carts to us until 10 minutes after our tee time. Even though the course was busy, the starter had the first tee open for the time of at least two groups. Finally, at 4:30, and when our group was on hole 14, with at least another hour or less of good day light, the staff decided to close that side of the course early so they could get home early. We ended up having to run around the course to find holes the other groups who got kicked off of didn’t take already. Real poor cart rules and the way the pro shop and starter handled everything was unprofessional.

Once upon a time
This course has a lot of potential. Layout is decent. However just the cart paths alone, bring a mouth piece. You will break a tooth. As far as the fairways, thank you for the 3+ “ of rain. Needs a ton of attention and spend some money fixing the grass. Greens were decent.

Worst Course Ever
This is the worst course I have ever play, very poor condition and rocks are all over, fairway have no grass but sand and rocks, mud is everywhere

Great except for the service
The only reason this course gets a 3 instead of a 4 from me is because of the utter and complete lack of service I experienced during this particular visit. I absolutely love the layout of this course and the conditions, while not great, are decent. My problem was this: my friend and I were about to finish our round, when driving up the 18th fairway, our cart died. I called the club house and was promised that someone would be out shortly, 20 minutes later, no one had come out. Not wanting to hold up play, we grabbed our clubs and walked the rest of the hole. By the time we finished the hole, the clubhouse had still not sent anyone out to assist us. We did, however, see at least 3 course employees standing around together, joking and on their phones by the cart return area. After I got home, I sent an email to the course manager about this experience and posted a review online. Here we are a year later and I have never received a response.

Flooded out
Conditions were very soggy after recent rains, no driving range available, and overall just mediocre conditions.
