About
The beauty of the Santa Ana Canyons surrounds Green River Golf Club in Corona. The club originally had two 18-hole courses but they have been combined to form one massive, sprawling golf course. Although it is surrounded by hills and valleys, the course itself is mostly flat, making it a good round for high handicappers. The fairways are wide and forgiving, making it even more player friendly for beginners. There are still many challenges in store on this golf course though, including a number of river and creek crossings and strategically placed bunkers. The Santa Ana winds that sweep across the course can often make reaching the greens in regulation quite tough and the abundant trees, while providing a scenic and secluded atmosphere, also add to Green River Golf Club's difficulty.

Nice forgiving course
Very forgiving course with friendly staff. Enjoyed the surrounding nature and occasional train passing by..
Renovated but 1 hole's green
I like the Course of Green River.
But. They must be little smarter.
For the 1 impression, atleast, the 1st hole must be well-maintained. But the 1 st green is messy, it makes whole course look bad, though others holes are nice n playful.
I will visit again...because it is a good place to play.
play was very alow 6 hours for 18 holes...no marshall...overbooked
Good value
Overall a good experience. Tee boxes were generally flat. Fairways are decent. The course has rooted old trees so there are spots where the fairways are a bit bumpy. Couple greens including the first are actively being repaired but still playable. Additionally the greens were aerated but should be good in a week. Staff was very friendly although the beverage cart was done at 2pm. Too early in my opinion. Driving Range is only ~220 yards so you might not be able to hit woods in warmup. In the end, it’s good value for the money.
Fun day of golf
Check in was easy and staff was friendly as always. Course greens were just aerated but greens were that bad. Nice newer carts. Course layout is challenging. Fairways in decent shape.
Pace was excellent. Biggest issue is with other golfers, most don’t repair divots on greens.
Good pace. You get what you pay for
I played here on a Monday afternoon so the pace was pretty good. We finished in under 3.5 hrs the course layout is ok. Bunkers are pretty solid like clay and cart paths are rough. Greens were recently punched and sanded so beware. Overall a half decent course with solid 3 stars and very reasonable pricing.
