About
The beauty of the Santa Ana Canyons surrounds Green River Golf Club in Corona. The club originally had two 18-hole courses but they have been combined to form one massive, sprawling golf course. Although it is surrounded by hills and valleys, the course itself is mostly flat, making it a good round for high handicappers. The fairways are wide and forgiving, making it even more player friendly for beginners. There are still many challenges in store on this golf course though, including a number of river and creek crossings and strategically placed bunkers. The Santa Ana winds that sweep across the course can often make reaching the greens in regulation quite tough and the abundant trees, while providing a scenic and secluded atmosphere, also add to Green River Golf Club's difficulty.

Typical
Nothing special. Would recommend only playing 9. If you try to play more right now you have to play the same 9 due to construction and on your second time around you are behind not only whoever your trailing but all the people just starting their round. It gets super backed up.
Great value
Really spacious fairways and greens were pretty nicely kept up. Even with the construction pace of play was good. Good value price wise.
Closed holes
They closed 3-11, and asked us to play same nine holes twice, as we made the turn to play the hole number one for the second time, new players also converged on the hole number one. Total chaos. Never seen anything like it.
Poor front desk staff
I do need to remaind front desk at club house my tee time, he gave me a 15 minutes late than my real tee time.
I think a Marshall on the course would have sped up the play, it was over a 5 1/2 hour round.
Great location but not maintained
The location from Orange County is that ideal and the price is relatively inexpensive. Unfortunately, it is obvious that upkeep is not a priority at this course
Long wait for carts
Course allows one person per cart due to Covid-19 but doesn't have enough carts. Long wait of more than an hour without available carts, and decided to walk the course instead.
delay t off due to limited cart
on 4/29 I wait more than 45 min to have a golf cart. Today 5/4 my t time 2.12 PM. At 3.10pm there are 3 groups afront of me still waiting for the carts. I asked the pro shop cancel my t time...it was a waste ...day
