Good course, in good shape for the most part. There wasn’t really a distinguishing cut between fairway and rough. Greens in great shape. Pace of play not fast but not as slow as other courses in the area. About 3 hours for a round of 9. Fun layout, but I wish I had known how short it was, about 2200 yards from the tips with only par 3s and 4s. Overall a good time, but i would have preferred an 18 hole longer course experience
Sunday Golf
Sunday golf outing. Pace of play could have been better. Golf cart service and staff was great and friendly. The grill and bar had great service and food and drink was good.
Favorite Course So Far
Played a round at the Navy Golf Course and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. First off, their golf carts are top-tier fully equipped with GPS and built-in range finders, which took all the guesswork out of club selection. You won’t find this level of tech at most public courses.
Course conditions were excellent, greens rolled true, and the layout offers a nice balance of challenge and playability. But the real surprise? The Cali burrito. I’ve had my fair share across California, and this was hands down the best I’ve ever had perfectly cooked carne asada, crispy fries, and just the right amount of spice. Worth the visit alone.
Whether you're there for the golf or the food, you’re not walking away disappointed. Highly recommend.
