Excellent 9-Hole Course
Staff is friendly. The 9-hole has an excellent layout. Great little course in Cypress.
SLOW pace but GOOD course
The 9 hole side of the Navy course, called Cruiser, is wonderful for a short round, especially if you are playing with beginners. The pace of play is GLACIAL. You will wait on every hole, but that's okay if you set your expectations accordingly. This facility is very well kept, and the clubhouse and practice facilities are in newar country-club condition. It's a must-play course if you live near or can travel to the area.
Fine day
Another beautiful day with two close friends and we always enjoy course. Winds were steady all day. Greens were dry and very fast.
Good for quick nine!
The course was in decent condition. No bare lies in fairways. Greens ran true but not fast.
Boring layout.
We really enjoyed playing the 9 hole course that offered a nice ocean breeze on a very warm day. The only complaint we have was the pace of play behind 4 people who apparently don't realize that the driving range is where you hit multiple balls and chat way too long before teeing off onto a wide open fairway or empty green, no golf etiquette in the foursome!
Long walk between 1st-2nd and 8th and 9th tees
Somewhat slow play with no Marshals or Starter.Fairways and greens in good conditions. Very long walk between first and last holes since the airport runway cuts thru the course
